Rentalcars.com, autoverhuur

They created a new feature to secure email; to view your booking it is requested to confirm access from email. But if you do it from app and confirm via browser it doesn’t work. I checked this with their help and they suggest me to use browser. I should be able to view in a sec not spend 5 minutes for this

App has become unusable for viewing existing bookings. Forces you to generate a secure email which takes you to a webpage which forces you to do yet another secure email. Have taken a screen recording of the issue but nowhere to email it to.

As long as things go well it’s a pretty nice app. However the moment something goes wrong you have a problem. First of all they offer criminal companies in their app. They rob you of your money. Secondly their customer service is terrible. Impossible to come to a solution. Ending up in paying a total of 700,- euros for 2 rentals that should have costed 400,-. Never again!

De app kan de boeking niet vinden, lukt wel via website. De zoek en boek functie van de app werken oké.

All my bookings suddenly disappeared. Cleaning, deleting, re installing did not help. Called and emailed with Rentalcars.com but no one has been able to help me out. Was a loyal frequently travelling customer for years. Am now to stop using their services

App werkte altijd perfect. Maar de laatste tijd zijn de boekingen niet meer zichtbaar in de aap. Als ik een boeking wil wijzigen herkent de app mijn bevestigde boekingsnummer ook niet.

Verzekering afsluiten noodzakelijk maar uitbetalen bij schade zit er niet in! Ik wacht al bijna 1 jaar op afhandeling

Constantly asked to do “I’m not a robot” tests to the point that I’m booking on Kayak instead. Also the flux of prices ($100+ difference) just based on the country residency and currency I selected are outrageous— it’s clear price gouging. You’re better off booking elsewhere to avoid being ripped off

I booked a car via this app on Avis/Budget, but then when I got there to pick up the car they told me they don't accept “digital bank” cards, not due to some technical problem as they refused to even try, more like some high street bank lobby/agreement.
They told me this was on their terms of service, but it doesn't show on rentalcars agreement.
So I asked them to cancel the reservation and they couldn't as it was made via 3rd party, I contacted rentalcars and they said they couldn't cancel as it was already the time for pick up and they only refunded the insurance.
So I ended up wasting time and money with this app.
In the end, I went directly to Sixt, which gladly takes “digital bank” cards, with zero issues.
I will never rent a car via 3rd party again, if something goes wrong they are useless and add a layer of complication, and refuse to take any responsibility.

I booked a car through this company, but upon arrival at the airport, no one was there to pick us up. I have been sending emails and making calls for three months now, and they promised to refund my money. However, at the end of the day, I still haven't received any reimbursement.
Don’t book here! Delete this app!

Eerst via de website boeken en betalen, dan pas de app downloaden en je boeking er in zetten. Via de wensite boeken is vaak 30% goedkoper

The app keeps telling me something went wrong and I have been unable to book amcar, but the amount is reserved on my creditcard, which is very annoying.

My family and I booked a car, paid, but the airline delayed the flight for two hours. When we arrived at the place, we were told that there was no car for us, because. according to their conditions, they wait only an hour and the flight delay is our problem. I was offered a lower class car for 50% more than I booked. When I applied to the rental car for a refund, they told me that they charge a fine of 637 pounds for canceling the reservation. As a result, the money was not returned, we did not receive the car. I intend to go to court and file a complaint with the police. NEVER BOOK ANYTHING THROUGH THE APP! RENTALCARS SCAM!

Just did my first booking. When picking up the car the company tried to lure me in expensive insurance stuff. I thought i would get rid of this by booking everything at this platform.

Calling The Netherlands like Holland in your app during the payment processing. Amazing, what table are you using?

My ICSCards.nl Visa needs an extra verification via de ICScards.nl app. This does work on the Rentalcars website, but this is not implemented in the Rentalcars app. Thus I cannot pay a car in the app and need to call support to fix it.

Check them on trustpilot. They charge your card and you get no car.
