Opening reddit in Safari browser forces the user to download this app without an option to disable the notification or click back in the browser

Title says it all I think. I feel we shouldn’t have to tolerate some of the lies and hate on this site. It’s destructive. But apart from that there are really adult folks around which make for great experience and sharing of info.

Almost every time after going back from an opened post, the home page freezes. Unusable for iPad

The most inclusive platform to date. Unless you have a different opinion, then you get banned.

In a new update from today the comment sections on posts are no longer finite.. now when the last comment is reached it starts showing “trending posts” which I have never been interested in in the first place. Might be time to uninstall the app as it’s not actually a useful way to spend my time anyways

From a google search wanting to read the Reddit page is horrible. It changed recently so you can’t read without the app. It bugs my screen it, have to refresh to even do anything. And then it doesn’t work fast to actually search up the page you want in the app. Sometimes I can’t even paste a link.

The fact that this platform is still allowed to be hosted online is beyond me. This app is filled with hatred towards everyone that doesn’t agree with the majority of users. Murders are made fun off, people are wished dead, calls to violence towards others etc.

They want you to install the Reddit app so that they can track everything you do and feed this data into their ads algorithm. You get nothing, and they get money for hijacking storage in your phone and whatever utility costs that come from it. Appalling.

Reddit keeps on refreshing to the home page when you come back after a while. This is extremely annoying when you want to keep on reading longer content and it needs to be fixed.

Forces you to download the app so they can profit more from ads and track you’re info. No thanks. Never using reddit again.

1 star for forcing mobile web users onto the app. Purposely blocking/covering text when reading posts on the web is crazy work.

Don’t force the app on me! I want to use the browser and not be tracked by your bad app

after update i can’t get Anonymous mode to work. Tried Age verification and reinstalling and all other tips. Dealbreaker for me. Again a bad “improvement” from reddit. Deinstalled and won’t come back again, saves a lot of time too.

Whenever i look something up, mobile web becomes blocked and forces me to use the app. Madly annoying when doing quick searches

The website forces me to download the app, I’m no longer able to use Reddit on a browser. This is such an evil thing to do, I no longer want anything to do with this greedy company.

I've used 3rd party apps instead of reddit for a long time but had to switch to OG due to mod activities (whoch it still only half supports). Sadly, the app still sucks monkry balls. The most recent update suddenly turned certain options (like recommendations in my feed and auto translate) on even though I had them turned off. People behind this app just can't seem to stop ruining the experience for users. Ya'll should just and stop appeasing the investors and listen to your target audience for a change.

So many updates but never about optimizing to fix battery drain and heating when using the app. Do you guys ever reed people’s feedback? It’s literally the number 1 complaint.
