Latest OS- version 17.7.10 (device is up-to-date) is not enough to read or even see all of The New York Times. I can‘t install OS 18.

Het is steeds even zoeken in deze krant die het VS dorpsnieuws mixt met het feitelijke, wereldbrede perspectief van gebeurtenissen, waaraan vaakst open, duidelijk geargumenteerde duidingen aan worden gegeven, waarmee een constructief gaande dialoog gevoerd kan worden met vrije geesten, en dat bevalt mij zeer!

No, NYT, I dont want that you and your 340 partners follow me on every step using your app. Please don’t ask me that every single time the app starts. Just remember that.

Having lived in NYC for several years (and having the Times delivered on my doormat for many of those years), it is fantastic to be able to keep up with the news through the Times app.
I now live in the Netherlands again. One thing that I have noticed is that many news outlets (such as tax payer funded NOS) also read the NYTimes. It often happens that I read something in the Times, and read the same article on the NOS app. So, might as well read the news before anyone else does here.

NYT is following other media content providers by putting more and more ads in the app. When it started it was a small nuisance, but is has become endemic, literally unavoidable. I have gone back to the browser version, no dark mode and poor navigation but thankfully clean of ads on my phone.

First time i seriously read the New York TIMES wow very good paper. Go on you GREAT PEOPLE OF THIS GAZETTE

And then they stopped caring. And we stopped sharing, our precious daily quiz moments. We are living in times that need more sharing especially with your close surroundings. So now news from across the Atlantic is not worth this much. Byyeee

I am European but…. 8+ times a day; “breaking news”… Disable the notifications It’s the worst.
Further acticles good, the interface lacks overview. I am on iPhone. I feel like It’s an iPad app

You do not give News facts, but Rather far leftish opinions. That is bad journalist

The app menu is very limited in terms of giving access to various sections of the newspaper. Just replicate in the app the sections menu that you have in the web version of the NYT.

Nice app but you should really reconsider what is “breaking news”. I get notifications on my watch all the time . Like “king is sick”. But not dead? I like getting notifications but this constant peeping is annoying so I of course had to mute all notifications .

I love the NYT. Next to the newspaper I’m listening to The Daily podcast every day. Definitely recommend.

Can you make it easier to see which articles are read by the author and an automated voice? Put a symbol next to the headline so we do not need to click on each article to find out if there is audio. Thanks!
