My TANITA – Healthcare App

I like the app but it keeps refreshing my stats every few seconds so it’s impossible to scroll back to see my results from past couple of months. This was not the case a couple of months ago.

I was unable to use the app for four months after upgrading my phone. When the app is transferred from another phone to the new one, it is not possible to establish a connection with my scale. Everything appeared to be set up correctly. In the end, deleting and reinstalling the app solved the problem. It is unfortunate that this was necessary.

My BC401 worked perfectly fine using an old iPhone (SE?). Now I try to connect with an iPhone 16, but Bluetooth can’t find the scale. We have tried everything to connect but no luck.

Today I got my scale and installed the app. I notice quite some bugs in the app, which makes it hard to enjoy the experience. The text/information keeps changing size and is therefore unable to read. Had to screenshot and read it from there. Also things keep popping up and you’re unable to close it. Even without touching the screen it keeps opening the information window.
Not super happy unfortunately. Spend €200 on the scale. Was hoping for a better app.

Omdat de weegschaal steeds meetresultaten verwisselde werd ons aangeraden om met alle huisgenoten 1 account te gebruiken. Nu heb je het probleem dat alleen het eerste account met Apple kan synchroniseren. Het zou wel handiger zijn als per telefoon te kiezen was welk profiel en met Apple synchroniseert. gemiste kans voor het oplossen van een onnozele bug.

I have tried everything to connect, but it doesn’t work, to log out, to delete the app, to change an account. This happens only with my old clients. All nieuw clients which have the app sinds a couple of weeks have no problems.
This is very frustrating.

Hele leuke app. Maar heeft 1 puntje wat niet goed werkt.
Op de pagina met de bolletjes kun je haast onmogelijk het laatste bolletje aanklikken omdat ie half op de buitenste rand staat.

Goed in gebruik, overzichtelijk en goede uitleg over de verschillende metingen en postuuropbouw.

This app used to be connected with the tanita scale, but the connection broke last month, and since then I was not able to reconnect. The app keeps giving me the screen: ‘Bluetooth disabled’, but Bluetooth on my phone is on. I tried turning my phone off and logging off and back in, but the app keeps giving the same message.

Just fire your software architect and promote a diligent junior. The issues you have shall not fall on the end users’ shoulders.

last update I had to login again and couple my scale. Once done I noticed I lost two months of measurements both on my app as well as online. My apple health still shows them. Reinstalling the app again the issue persisted but even more incorrect. My online / website measurements now go to 18/09 and from November again (missing in between) but my app only loads until august. Not sure what happened but it seems something went wrong and a data restore/migration also failed along the way.

since a week my results do not show up in my-yanita.eu and i can not export them to pdf

Lots of errors. Eg you can’t delete measurements (error 403). You can’t submit feedback (internal server error 500). Needs some updates asap

Since the last update of the app it is not possible to export the results in pdf. We are normally really happy with your product. Can you please tell me when this server problem is being fixed?

De app werkt niet meer! Ik kan niet inloggen en het geeft elke x een foutmelding!
Aub doe er iets aan.

Installed it, created an account, now it just hangs with the logo on the screen and no further interaction. Worthless.

I did see some reviews with “pdf conversions stopt” and wanted to respond by this review and for other users: you need to log off and on in the app and you will see that the results and options to delete and export are activated again. Overall the app is very practical and the measurements are consistent. The pdf export function is really awesome and I really like the distinctions between body type and results (because I am a weightlifter and need muscle mass).
