MARVEL SNAP - Hero Card Game

I hope i’ll get to play as Spider-Man with the Spider-Man: Brand New Day variant.

The concept of the game is really cool and very true to characters we grew up with. The game has its flaws with bugs and crashes here and there, but the devs are always working hard to rectify that. Speaking of rectify, sometimes cards come out too powerful or just not fun. There is always an effort to make the game fun and enjoyable for all, not just competitive players.
Things are not always great and even flawed at times. But the developers are always working towards making it better, sometimes it means they fix a mistake with another mistake, but in the end all is well and good!

Buy towing game directly I’m telling you don’t even try to download this game. It’s so terrible matchmaking is awful and they don’t try to even to fix it or help you if you don’t have a card you don’t have a money to spend on it. Don’t even try to play and don’t believe on social media what they are saying they’re all biased. They’re all paid with their reviews and saw that this game is great it’s not it’s pay to win game. Don’t try to play please because matchmaking is also worse. It’s the same like Marvel rivals game same trash. PS this game is crashing a lot.

How have you made such a good game but with an imposible climb?
Cards that came out years ago cost the same as cards that come out now, it’s impossible to keep up

I play this game already 3 years and was waited when they will fix that bag that game crashes every time that I play. It’s not funny. I am so upset

This game could be fun, but it has two big problems.
First, the way they try to get your money is really bad and unfair. It feels like they just want to take your cash from you.
Second, the game breaks a lot. It crashes every time you open it unless you turn off 'gyroscope' in the settings. This crashing problem has been happening for two weeks, and the people who made the game haven't fixed it or even said anything about it.
It seems like they only care about getting money from players, not about making the game work right or making it fun for you.

Seldom have I run into a game that has gripped me as hard as Marvel Snap has over the past years. The gameplay, flavour and overal design of this game are absolutely amazing. A straight 5 stars in that department.
Sadly it appears that the game is ending its live cycle. Cards are pushed out faster than ever and the game is monetised greedier than ever. It is impossible to keep up at the current rate without spending some cash. Maybe some cash is putting it mildly, a lot of cash is a better way to put it.
In the past progression was tedious and rng heavy but overall felt rewarding and worthy of your time. Nowadays all the worthwhile things have been taken from the players, all good rewards nerfed. Progression by means of collection level gutted. All that’s left is using an options recently introduced, directly using your credit card to buy cards, something that was impossible in the past.
It saddens me a lot to write this review, countless hours I have on this game and in all honestly, 100s of euros spent. Most of that money on cosmetics. It seems this was not enough for Second Dinner. These numbers need to be in the 1000s apparently.
I would stay away, every other card game on the market is more f2p friendly. It’s truly too bad that this one card game is such a fresh take on the genre.

Love the game. However on the iPad it was unstable already, after this weeks update the game also is no longer playable on my Macbook due to the constant crashes. Would appreciate it if there is a fix for this.

Beautiful animations. Great mechanics. Fair gameplay with just the right amount of luck. Great art. Playing daily for months now

The card acquisition in this game is terrible. They keep releasing new cards, but they almost never drop cards to a lower series and players get very little rescources to acquire new cards. This means you miss a lot of cards and can’t keep up with the meta, unless you pay with real money for more rescources. Another issue is the playersupport. They just keep repeating the same lines and won’t actually help you with your issue.

Started out amazing, really nice game. But the more this game continued it got more greedy by the week. Predatory bundles with insane prices, getting new cards is super expensive and near impossible for new players. SD constantly saying they are working on stuff that then either turning out to be not true, underwhelming or a cash grab. If you are thinking about trying this game, dont… put your time and money somewhere else.

The game is fun in its core, but if you’re a new or returning player, do not even waste your time trying to get into this game.
Acquiring cards is extremely hard (or costly) and the devs refuse to change anything about it. There are much cheaper, more fun games you can try besides this one.

Used to love this game, but it’s been going downhill. The devs keep making promise they won’t keep. The monetization and card acquisition is horrible. Second Dinner has proven time and time again that they don’t care about their players and all they want is money. For new players it’s especially horrible, so if you’re interested in this game, do yourself a favor and don’t even bother.

Game was fun, but lately it has gone downhill and it has become a pretty greedy game. Some of the changes made by the developers are just tone deaf and its been a string of issues that make me bive this a 1 out of 5 rating currently.

This game in concept is honestly so fun, creative and has huge potential, but it is held back by insane “micro”-transactions, grinding system, the awful spotlight cache system (i can’t handle getting more duplicates) and the lame rewards (titles) they keep plaguing the ladder with. It’s so difficult to level up and earn keys or tokens the became then becomes a chore. SD made too many promises that they would improve the card-acquisition system but we have not seen anything of that sort.

What’s worse, their initial launch pitch was a card game accessible to all, now its a data driven money machine.

It gets boring real fast, its a shame you cant buy packs to unbox but on the plusside there are no ads. It's however still a mediocre game
