LG ThinQ

De app kan al dagen enkel de LG smart tv aanzetten, maar that’s it. Kan niks ermee bedienen en zelfs niet de tv uitzetten. Heb alles al geprobeerd, tv & app instellingen, updaten, verwijderen & opnieuw installeren, stekker tv & modem eruit, wifi opnieuw opstarten etc. Heel irritant dit! Pls fix dit zsm!

Unfortunately, it’s impossible to disconnect ThinQ from Google Home. My LG devices aren’t in the Google Home app and the Google Assistant is unable to control the devices. It’s just so weird. The ThinQ app says it’s connected to Google Assistant, while Google shows no connection to ThinQ at all.
Also, there seems to be no simple option in the ThinQ app to disconnect from third party services (like Google), which is extremely frustrating.

Disabled Home Assistant API access with the SmartThinQ LGE integration. Unfortunately, the official LG integration is missing many sensors, such as actual power usage and swing control. A poor choice by LG. LG is no longer an interesting brand to me. I specifically bought LG devices for Home Assistant support with all te sensors.

I mean functions for two sided door fridge and freezer.
While there is no possibility to put wireless stuff to fridge but the functions are possible like super cool or super freeze. Should be also possible to switch on making ice cubes.
Then I change the ratings.
For loundry machines is pretty functional and have no more appliances from lg

De LG droger geeft geen waarden weer bij energieverbruik. De wasmachine wel. Kan dit worden opgelost?

I think it’s a bug or whatever but it’s quite annoying that a simple ON and OFF command doesn’t work. It’s terrible that I can’t control my TV with the app even though sometimes it does work. This has been persistent for months and something needs to be done about it. I really don’t expect an household name like this to fumble on simple bug fixes. And from the comments, I realise i am not the only one. IT IS FRUSTRATING!

App is niet in staat om mijn smart tv te vinden in het wifi netwerk terwijl alle andere apparaten dit wel kunnen

Ik heb 3 LG airco’s die ik via de app bedien. Connectiviteit is top! Maar precies een jaar geleden was de UI heel duidelijk en overzichtelijk, met grotere thumbnails per airco. Het was in 1 oogopslag duidelijk te lezen welke airco tot welke kamer behoort, wat de huidige temperatuur is etc. Met de laatste update is alles zo compact dat ik het niet meer prettig ervaar. A.u.b. doe wat aan de UI van de app.

How did you manage to make something easy so difficult. I Have to give up all my data for a simple screensaver or get a subscription. Connecting to google photos does not work and I can only add my device (tv) in the app if I give up all my data. Basic screensavers should work automatically and should be free. I hate the ugly clock and its prone to burning the tv screen. Be a little generous, tv was expensive.

Ik gebruik de app als afstandsbediening voor mijn LG tv. Op het moment dat ik uit de app ga en ik wil daarna weer in de app om de afstandsbediening weer te gebruiken , dan werkt de app nietmeer goed. En daarmee bedoel ik dat de muis niet reageert of de knoppen voor de televisie nietmeer reageren en dan moet ik steeds de app sluiten en weer helemaal opnieuw synchroniseren of zelfs de app verwijderen , deze bug moet gefixt worden.

Takes minimal of 5 seconds to connect to any LG smart device, the app is slow. Please fix it.

Tv en soundbar op de app maar na een tijdje ziet hij de soundbar niet meer. Geeft aan opnieuw verbinden. Zelfs dat doet hij niet. Continu een fout. Zo frustrerend. Wat moet je nou? Nergens een beschrijving of iets. Heb je laatste nieuwste apparaten waar je niets aan hebt zo

Al geruime tijd geen de app geen actuele informatie mbt de wasgang van de wasmachine. Mijn telefoon herstart, app eraf gegooid en opnieuw geïnstalleerd. Helpt allemaal niets. WAARDELOOS

The LG ThinQ app is generally a good and stable app, and it works well for basic control of the heat pump. However, the amount of information it provides is quite limited.
At the moment, the app mainly shows the target temperature. Important data that is available on the physical remote control cannot be read in the app. It would be very useful to have access to information such as flow rate, current system temperatures, energy consumption, and COP (Coefficient of Performance). For users who want insight into efficiency and system behavior, this information is essential.
The app also feels very strongly focused on users who own many LG devices. If you only have an LG heat pump, it would be much better if the app interface could be simplified to show only heat pump–related information, instead of pushing a “full LG smart home” experience.
Another issue I have experienced is reliability. Occasionally, the app can no longer retrieve data from the heat pump. It is unclear whether this is caused by the app itself or by the heat pump’s Wi-Fi module. In these cases, a full hard reset of the heat pump is required before everything works again, which is not very user-friendly.
Finally, it would be a big improvement if the Wi-Fi dongle or API of the heat pump could be accessed externally (for example via Python) to allow integration with home automation systems.
Overall, the app has a good foundation, but it would benefit greatly from more detailed technical information, better stability, and more openness for advanced users.

Als je ook maar iets wilt doen moet je al je gegevens overgeven incl precieze locaties. Dat doen we niet: app verwijderd.
Helaas kom ik alleen afmelden en niet mijn registratie wissen. Dat ga ik nog uitzoeken

Simpele dingen als je TV aan en uit zetten werken niet. Dan heeft al het andere moois al helemaal geen nut meer.
