KORG iMono/Poly

Last update removed two fun features and did not address any of the long standing issues with this great synth. There probably was some deal with the Monopoly people so that the skin could only be used for a year. OK, whatever. But to also remove the randomization feature is just petty. On top of not listening to users for years asking for AUv3 support and using the (BOUGHT AND PAID FOR) presets in Gadgets, this just reeks of abandonware.

This synth is quite powerful, just like its VST counterpart, but with slightly better looks.

Will this ever be made AUv3 compatible though? I would like to integrate this synth better with other apps, but I might have to look elsewhere is this isn’t implemented. Same goes for iWavestation and iPolysix, which I do not own yet for iOS.

Why oh why are the presets made in the app not accessible in Gadget? This and many other small annoyances plague the otherwise fantastic Gadget ecosystem.
Korg just ignores posts on their user forum, which appears to be the only way to reach them at all.

The Korg iMono/Poly is a fantastic synthesizer with astonishing presets and lot’s of tweaking & tuning. Works great with an external MIDI keyboard. It’s not cheap, but if you’re looking for one of the best synthesizers on iOS, this Korg is an excellent option.
