Hushed: US Second Phone Number

Scam. I bought a subscription for three lines I paid required amount but I even cannot send any message or get message between my own numbers. Incoming and upcoming messages doesn’t work.

I’ll admit that I’m not the most common case. I wanted a service that could keep my original cell number active for a low cost. I don’t use aspects of the service such as additional numbers to protect your primary number (cool, though!).
The service always appears to work. So far, I’ve not noticed any failures. As with all VOIP (and most cell services), it can take a little longer for a call to connect than the “non-VOIP” generation of landlines. Expected, but don’t be surprised.
I do wish the app had push notifications, so I could know about new messages and voice mail. As long as the app is running and background processing is allowed (OS setting), you will get ring or message tones, so it’s only a restriction when I want it o close the app for awhile or go into DND.
The app does reduce battery standby time.
These are my only 2 nits. Overall, quite happy

Unfortunately some government agencies block VoIP numbers, so if you are an American overseas who needs a US number for official reasons, this might not work. I received direct and personal support from Hushed on this issue. It was explained to me but seems unsolvable. All other aspects seem to function well!

I travel to the US quite frequently, Hushed is a great option to have a “local” phone number.

I like and recommend the app, but there are a few shortcomings. Most notably, it cannot be used to contact Apple Support. (Apple gets a busy tone when the call you).

Guys don’t waste your time on this app it’s a complete chaos and fraud-they give you a number and all of the sudden it’s not working after taking charges for it con ya t customer service all they tell you is you violated and you become confuse like how ? This app is purely waste of money. I regret paying for it .

I’ve been using this app for over a year without any issues. I’ve recently experienced massive issues:
phone doesn’t ring and only displays a missed call.
Calls will disconnect when you don’t even choose to hang up. I contact support who have 0 idea and are telling me it is my connection despite using different once’s and the same occurrence happens.
What am I paying for?

This app truly is the best of its kind. The prices are very reasonable and the connection is good during calls. In my experience, it does work better on data network than on WiFi. However, this is likely due to WiFi providers and speed.
~ The customer service is formidable. Should you ever need any assistance: the customer service ladies/gentlemen are very professional, friendly - and they will work until your problem is solved.
I would recommend this app to anyone who is seeking to make calls through local numbers - or for those who simply want more than one phone number.

Easy to get a US number. Not too expensive, but would be nice if cheaper, or have the number longer. Works fast. Overal nice service.

Echt een geweldige app alleen is het jammer dat je zo ontzettend veel entries nodig bent, het kost ook gigantisch veel geld

I want a refund. I paid twice and on my 2nd attempt I finally received the number. I needed it to receive text messages but after trying sending multiple messages none were received.
Wouldn't recommend this app to anyone!

Really cool app, but I never got the chance to talk to someone. And the free entry video's don't load either.
