HomeCam for HomeKit

Sometimes it works great, I open the app or shortcut and see all my cameras but 9/10 times it’s won’t load 1 or more cameras and after opening the camera itself it just pictures a black screen. Also really often it shows the image for 2 seconds after which I’m back at a black screen again. So definitely won’t recommend (using 3 different aquara HomeKit cameras)

Was always a good app, but lately I can’t change the camera order. Comes back completely different.
Really annoying.

Hello Sir,
I have been trying to add widget to my iPhone 15 Pro Max iOS 17.4 it is not working! The app doesn’t show up, I have tried to hard reset, restart, update to newer iOS update, delete app and reinstall.
Please check your code and push out a new update so it works again on iOS 17.4 iPhone 15 pro max.
If this is fixed I will adjust my review to 5 stars.

The quality is good. Easy to understand and use.
Couple of problems with this:
1) Dual audio support isn’t there. We use them for baby monitoring. That would be a very useful function.
2) Also the sound button hitbox is way to small for ease of use. Sometimes I have to press 5 times because of the small hitbox. Please adjust. There are no buttons next to it so it shouldn’t be to hard.
3) Lastly: in “switch mode” when the camera’s switch, it makes this annoying beeping sound, every time it switches back nd fort. No option to turn this off.
If these adjustments where made this would be the perfect app in my honest opinion.
I hope this reach the developers.

It works well on iPad iPhone and Apple TV.
Enough settings available to personalize but not so much it get’s difficult.

HomeCam works great. I have it on all my Apple devices, allowing me to quickly see the cameras without the other homekit functions.
The only negative is that the motion alerts from the motion sensors of my cameras (Logitech CircleView)are too sensitive. Any leave moving in my garden seems to trigger an alert. This has a boy cried wolf effect and indeed I switched of the motion alerts. Homekit allows to specify that notifications are generated for persons, cars, animals, packages, or any motion. If HomeCam would implement the same functionality, then it will be a perfect app.

It works, but video stream stutters a lot. When clicking on a video the app seems to start listening to the microphone of my Mac too. This causes my headphone (Bose NC 700) to stop noise canceling, which makes everything sound weird.
There is no talk function, although the camera supports it. Maybe that is a HomeKit issue? Also the sound doesn't get routed to the default sound output of my Mac. Using headphones, but the sound of the cams is routed to the speakers of my iMac.

This is by far the best HomeKit camera app. Has good responsiveness and useful features.
Please add PIP support for cycle view on AppleTV and iPad.

Great app with some unique features missing in the built-in HomeKit app.
One little feature request. Would it be possible to cycle through the sound feeds from each camera in the overview mode where all cameras are in view? Using it in a multi-baby/child monitor setup

It only works for me on one camera the second camera doesn’t connect I get the message the camera is not responding but in the eufy and HomeKit app it works well its a shame for the money

Overall great experience. iOS widget is great. Have two cams set up, sometimes it’ll show same feed on both cam views, but apple home app does too sometimes so the problem probably lies somewhere else. Watch app great too. Apple tv app isn’t working well for me. No connection all the time. Even though the apple tv is a hub and my phone is showing the feed. Also, tv app would be great if it had a picture in picture option.
5 stars when the bugs are fixed. Keep up the good work, promising stuff!

De apple tv app, iPhone app, and apple watch app doesn’t work well. “Accessory Sent Invalid Response (HMErrorDomain error 50)” all de time when i start the app. In de homekit app it is working fine..

I’ve been using it for some time now and it works amazing. Love the AppleTV app with it, the possibility to have it rotate trough the different cams is very useful. The Apple Watch app isn’t working really well, but that wasn’t the reason I bought the app. It’s much quicker then the HomeKit app.
