Groove Rider GR-16

A great app for fooling around. Also the presets help to get an idea of the many sounds possible. And I’m sure I’ve just scratched the surface.

Hi This is a perfect groovebox for deep editing. Easy to use and a lot of creativity is possible.

is it possible to sent the sound to the fx engine instead of this?
Then I can have more a echo fx.
For now it stops directly if I use automation.
And maybe more delay possibilities.
Time, feedback, and lfo to time delay.
But for now, I enjoy this application very well.

The option import samples by audiOShare is missing there.
Gr16 is not seen there anymore.

I really wanted to like this app for it has great sounds. Unfortunately it seems only to be used as standalone app.
When you want to use it with other apps/synthesizers over MIDI, you’ll be disappointed for it has no MIDI IN filter (ch 10) and will also play all notes that are exclusive meant for other apps (ch 1-9, 11-16). It has only OMNI and POLY mode.
So this app is not suited to be integrated in any larger setup.
The developer is responsive, but seems to be heading for more standalone functionality.

It's almost an exact copy of the Korg Electribe 2S, even with the irritating menu. But I like my Electribe 2S... And this is just as great... Onky a bit smaller and less tactile.

This is a very well thought out and inspirational app. It goes much further than just electronic dance music. I use a lot of my own samples and create ambient, drone, experimental music. Highly recommended!
