Multiple issues, but the biggest one is privacy: once you send a photo in a private chat, you can never truly delete. Even if you delete it from your own album — and even with a paid account — the receiver permanently keeps a copy in the chat history. That alone is unacceptable in 2026.
Other major issues:
- profile photos often cannot be changed properly, even after deleting/ or reuploading;
- location updates are extremely slow and inaccurate;
- using the Boost option floods your radar with profiles hundreds of kilometers away, sometimes from entirely different countries;
- even if paid you receive lots of advertisement in private messages from other users which appears again to be a breach of privacy as the senders are not aware of it.
For such an expensive app, the quality and privacy standards are unacceptable.
