flowkey – Learn to Play Piano

I like to play an occasional popular song and also I would have loved to have an app with which my children can learn how to play. However, I doubt this app was even meant for this, as it is NOT impossible to add notes/ comments to the sheet for position/ dynamics. Tried to get some value by making screenprint, so I could add finger position/ chords (it’s speeds up learning/ memorizing). Off course, they are spending our money on anti-copy instead of adding to user experience; zoom in/ out - I can’t read ahead past 3 measures (yes, you can turn the screen to see 3 instead of 1), adding notes, etc. Not prolonging this subscription after it ends. I DO like the collection and the arrangements, they are really good for piano. Unfortunately without being able to add comments and position directly to the sheet…not worth the money or title ‘educational’. Sorry for the harsh comments, but people should know before investing.

I think you need some of my songs and also maybe one of my favourite songs Lush Life.

Great program. I would like versions of songs where the right hand is not doing the singing part.

The library is much less extensive than I hoped even with the most expensive subscription. And most songs are not the full songs but just small parts of them!

the app was not built to teach people how to play piano but rather to steal money from them. Sneaky. In secret!

I am using this app to learn and maintain my piano playing skills. It teaches users in a simple way, not too steep learning curve as well. You can choose what you want to learn. Can also pick songs to learn, most with various difficulty settings. I recommend this app!

Highly recommended to learn and enjoy playing piano. Excellent courses, great material to practice and excellent support.

Zomaar 120€ afgeschreven zonder vooraankondiging. En dan ook nog niet via de app je abonnement kunnen stopzetten. Waardeloos! App is zeker geen 120,- waard.

Ik ben over het algemeen positief over deze software.
Het enige wat ik mis is de vingerzetting op de pianopartij.

Fijne app om mee te leren, wel weinig aanbod in de bibliotheek waardoor je veel bekende stukken niet kan leren.

I have been member for Years, but now I was shut off from almost all my songs in the middle of the contract period. Unacceptable!

Super happy with the app. Worth every penny until I was practicing a song and suddenly it's taken off the app. that is too bad. a reason for me to cancel my subscription.

Het is een mooi programma echter, het regelmatig verwijderen van stukken, bijvoorbeeld alle muziek van Elton John is plots weg, heeft mij doen besluiten om het abonnement niet meer te verlengen.

De collectie liedjes vind ik erg leuk! Dat er een wachtstand is waarmee je ze kunt instuderen ook. Regelmatig sla ik de juiste toetsen aan, en blijft de cursor toch hangen. Soms moet ik 4,5 keer dezelfde toetsen aanslaan voor hij ze als goed herkent en verder gaat. Bijvoorbeeld bij DDD. Heel irritant! Wat ik mis is de bladmuziek apart, dus zonder dat het toetsenbord mee loopt. Ik onthoud op locatie, en om nummers uit mijn hoofd te leren helpt het mij om de bladmuziek te zien, zonder dat die beweegt. Ik blijf blij met het aanbod van de nummers, en vind de persoonlijke aanbevelingen ook leuk.

I have learnt a lot of songs from this app. Especially connecting a digital piano via MIDI works great. However, multiple songs that I had saved have been removed or replaced by other songs. That is really inconvenient if you are working on such a piece.
