What a great first game for this new Dutch game studio.
It has an innovative control scheme that just puts you right into the action.
That's when i ask myself: "Why haven't other games used such a great way to control their game?".
The gameplay seems deceptively simple at first, but has just the right complexity later on to keep you entertained while you learn all the inns an outs (like upgrading and especially when to use the Overdrive ability).
It has a great feel of a classic arcade shooter with graphics that are perhaps a bit simple, but keep the action clear on the small screen of your iDevice.
The music fits the game perfectly and is very original, while giving a nostalgic vibe.
It might be a little more expensive than your run-of-the-mill space shooter, but i can guarantee that you will find it worth every penny and have you begging for more.
