  Al jaren geniet ik van dit maandblad, zowel in print als digitaal. Goede artikelen, diverse achtergronden en soms zelfs filmische tv. Hulde.

• Still awesome but some loss of function

  While I adore Empire's dual subscription and this app continues to brings the content to the iPad the way it was originally meant, I did observe a few problems upgrading to the latest version (4.10) of the app:
  - Sadly my bookmarks didn't get migrated. Wasn't it possible to keep those?
  - The update didn't clear the Document & Data cache while the already downloaded issues from the previous app version become inaccessible and waste space. I had the remove and reinstall the app to clear it myself.
  - Loss of function since you now need to download the full issue before you can start reading instead of the progressive web loading we had before. Also, 2x the issue size is needed as free space which can be 1.3 GB so you can never use you last 700 MB on the iPad.
  - Finally, the lovely covers in the library appear a bit small to my taste a space is wasted on repeating label text like "Empire Magazine" and white padding space around it.

• Why on earth is the latest issue 1.4 gb

  Usually in the old app the issues were about 400mb. I have no idea why this one is 3.5 times bigger than the others.

• Less space? No way!

  After downloading latest update and following instructions on restoring previous issues, I no longer appear to have enough storage on my iPad to actually download the latest version (which I had already downloaded prior to the update). It needs at least 1493 MB!

• Terrible support!

  Terrible support!
  My login stopped working and Bauer media & Apple refuse to come with a solution. They are pointing at each other.
  4 phone calls, 10+ emails, 2 chat sessions - Still no solution for me...
  I'm an avid empire magazine reader since the nineties and this is what I comes to?

• Pop up issue. Great App turns to pieces...

  Until last month. Everything worked perfect. Great&user friendly app. Now the magazine is ruined by the notification pop ups. Nothing works.
  I hope the next IOS or Empire update will solve this issue.
  Otherwise I will not be able to read any issues. And I have an annual subscription.

• Not That good anymore

  It used to be a great app. A couple of things have changed for the worse. Not in landscape is the worst change. No more trailers is also not a good change. So now it is not worth the money anymore. Sad..

• Good app,terrible support: BEWARE!

  I took a subscription for a year for this app in february AFTER I already bought the Feb issue.
  After activating the subscription it made me download this issue again so in effect I only get 11 months of issues...
  I mailed Empire twice on two different mail addresses but never got any response... This is terrible customer support.
  I will never renew my subscription and want everyone to be aware before they get sucked in.

• One of the better magazine Apps

  With easy controls and trailers embedded in almost every article. Only this week it says: new edition available, and there isn't, which is weird.

• Finally on the iPad in full awesomeness!

  This is how iPad magazines should work. Very nicely done. As always gives the Empire magazine quality movie news and this digital version is no exception.
