Ebook Reader

Bought a well known Penguin title. As the UI turns out to be a mess for that book (at least on iPad) I find that I wasted mij money on that. A good thing is that the app comes with a number of valuable free books for which the UI seems to work properly.

How do I put the book I’m currently reading at the top of the bookcase? For some reason that position is being permanently taken up by a book that I’ve finished months ago!

The book is useful but the app is appalling; no possibility to jump to sections / chapters from the index and the page numbers don’t correspond with the index numbers either. A huge time waster; purchasing the e-book was a big mistake. You’re probably better off getting the hard copy. I’d have expected more from a such a recognised institution. These problems are only here on the phone app.
The other major problem with this digital edition is that you cannot save the pages as PDFs which defeats the purpose if you want to use these games in class. I’ve never encountered this type of problem with the regular Acrobat reader.

The ui is terrible and out-of-date! It all seems to work sort of fine but over al not an enjoyable experience. The app doesn’t work great for the iPhone xs max and buttons are placed very inefficiently.

Het boek wat ik op dit moment lees, komt niet automatisch op het bovenste schap te staan. Het staat gewoon tussen de andere boeken in.
Misschien doe ik iets niet goed, maar krijg het uitgelezen boek niet weg van dat schapje.

De app geeft jouw boeken weer alsof ze staan in een boekenkast met de fronts naar je toe. Dat zoekt lastig. Ik heb liever duidelijke lijstjes. Heb je eenmaal een boek geopend dan werkt de app prima.

Would be be nice if you could sort your books into categories and have only the title be shown. It is a bit too cluttered for my taste.

For reading books for sure! Please improve line spacing and indentation. Many (many!) examples how to do it properly. For a company which sells ebooks this app is a shame! Yes, it's easy to use but that quite easy if you can tweak it properly to your needs!

This app... It is just perfect. The interface, the quick navigation to chapters or pages. And the option like marking and brightness settings are quite diverse.

Ik heb een groot boek en daar loopt het steds op vast. Jammer vooral omdat het best wel een duur boek is.

Nou ik vind de boeken niet zo leuk en ik kan mijn favorieten niet vinden, wel een aanrader als je Engels lezen en Engelse boeken leuk vind.

I'll try to order books for my iPad, every time I try to order a book it won't get trough! In December I ordered a book that was great, but now I'll try to order another book it's not possible the pavement won't go trough.
This is a shame, it might be a problem for other people as well

Ik ben al weken aan het lezen op mijn iPad en snap niet dat alle boeken gratis zijn tot nu toe.
Maar weet iemand hoe ik de boeken op mijn computer kan zetten, helemaal de boeken die ik al uit heb?
Echt een aanrader!

Door mijn werk ben ik voortdurend op reis. Vroeger sleepte ik dan 4 tot 5 boeken mee in mijn koffer; tegenwoordig zit al mijn leesvoer in mijn iPad; ideaal! Ook het aanschaffen cq betalen gaat enorm simpel; voor iedereen makkelijk en begrijpelijk. Angélique Spoor
