Doka: Foto en Video Editor

I’d love to support the app but €9,99/month is ridiculously expensive for casual use. All I need is the basic editing features the original app had.

I love this app on my iPhone 15 pro max. But my iPad mini keep crashing. Please fix it

Darkroom offers excellent editing tools for both iOS and MacOS. It is one of my goto softwares for video editing

I have been using this for a while now and I gotta say that it’s really powerful and good. However, the fact that it needs to import everything into your apple photos library is not convenient. I mostly work with raw files and I don’t want to import 25 gb of raw files into my apple photos app. Especially because apple syncs all of those photos to iCloud and I have to delete them afterwards. So if you could add the function to just work with the files directly from the folder without importing them to apple photos, it will be my go to photo editor.

I think this is an app that is very promising. The problem is that the makers do not listen en do not react on their costumers. A few year they asked for the app to sync automatically with iOS and iPadOS. Still after 3 years this is not applied. And there is no news on this subject also. Very poor.

Super handige app! Ik heb alleen nog niet de tool kunnen ontdekken om storende elementen uit de foto te verwijderen. Daar lijk ik nog de retoucheer app voor nodig te hebben.

For several months no more access to all photo’s From my Mac (synced though iTunes Sync). which makes Darkroom unusable.

Darkroom looks very promising but I can’t use it for serious editting. In the last year I used it as my default editor on my phone. I encountered many issues like: slow performance, controls not responding, many glitches in the preview and thumbails, batch export is unreliable, photo’s are not loading correctly.
The potential is there but Darkroom can’t be reliably used in what it promises, especially when editting a dozen photos or more.

Vandaag darkroom geïnstalleerd, getest of ik het wat vond… Ik was enthousiast dus voor een maand een abonnement genomen, nu ineens geeft hij de foutmelding dat de RAW bestanden niet kan laden..
Dus weggegooid geld, wel blij dat ik eerst een maand heb genomen…

It's a good app. I like most of the presets and there's plenty of options to manually edit your photo's. However, I am missing the functionality that synchronizes your imported presets across devices (or I haven't found it yet).

Nice app. However, I don't see the added value compared to Apple's own photo app, which is free.

Bought a life-time subscription a year ago, few weeks ago it’s disappeared and I have nothing now. Restoring process ends up with no luck. That’s cheating, think twice guys

Darkroom made it so much better after last big update. There really one of the big ones now. Colors masking everything you need as a Pro or Semi-pro is here. and it's so easy to use. on Macbook, iPad or Photo i love it.! Keep it up. Can't wait untill next big update.

I would get a subscription, if only the app would stop crashing every two minor edits. And by minor I mean rotating 5 images, for instance… iPad Pro 2020.

I love this for my mobile photos workflow when it needs to be quick and fun. And I have most of the important Color and other tools at hand that I’m used to from Capture One and Lightroom.
Feedback:
1. One big BUG: interacting with the app makes my Spotify music stop playback for some reason, that is really annoying as I love editing photos while listening to some good vibes.
2. Also, I payed to u lock all the Color controls and make custom filters etc. But now they offer a subscription plan for… idk even more functions? I already payed to have the full app years ago.

Not sure why this product products needs access to photos folder. When you click "why does darkroom needs access to Photos folder" it tells you that it doesn't upload them.
I want to keep private photos from my iPhone and business photos from DSLR camera separate.
This tool is not for professional business use.

I love this app and I don’t mind paying monthly, because it’s worth it! But since the new update it does nothing but crash. Either when editing or saving or the pictures take forever to load and I have to restart.. it’s a shame. :(
