Budget Flow | Huishoudboekje

I’ve started moving away from my usual budgeting app and found budget flow to be a good replacement for family budgeting.
I like the fact that I can decide what account each member in family can see. The watch app integration and immediate sync across devices is really useful. The app in general is intuitive to use across devices esp. the budget module.
What I did not like is the effort it takes to add a new payee or category. It would save me a few steps of the app can just allow me to type in their details during a transaction and not bother me about icons or colour. In some places of the app the new category added to a folder doesn’t seem to appear. This maybe my own misunderstanding rather than an app issue. The iCloud sync did fail me a few times already, but that could be because I was adding a ton of transactions/ accounts during initial load.
The import failed to recognise account currency and made every account to default currency which is a major problem since my past data of nearly a decade is incorrect!

It’s a very nice app, but I would like to add something. If the developer could add a limit to how much you could go into debt on your debit that would be great. For example if I could go -2000 but at the moment my debit is 1000, meaning I can still spend 3000. Something like that

Very nice app, I can really recommend. There are some features I still would like but from all the budgeting apps I’ve tried this one is the most pleasant to use. Nice approachable developer and developed in EU (Germany). Also the option to buy a lifetime license, thanks for that!

I have been using this app with a full license for about 3-4 months now, and this is the first app that works for me. I really like they style of the app and it’s very useful. I also keep using the widget that I put on my Lock Screen. I got into the habit of pressing the widget every time I make some kind of transaction, that’s nice. I hope this project will stay alive for a very long time!

Why would deleting a category result in wiping all transactions ? I lose data that I have to input manually again

It would be nice to have the ability to import a sample data set (maybe 20 records) or allow new users to create a 2nd account to check basic features like transfers. In its current state, for this app without any subscription, a new (or event returning user) cannot test some important features of an account tracker

Overzichtelijke app en gebruiksvriendelijk. Echter mis ik wel de functie van het toevoegen van subcategorieën. Denk aan hoofdcategorie Auto, maar dan nog verdeeld in Benzine, Onderhoud/onderdelen, Belasting en Diversen.

Na een lange zoektocht en vele apps geprobeerd te hebben, kwam ik uiteindelijk op BudgetFlow uit. Ik heb in het begin wel wat moeite gehad om e.e.a. in de vingers te krijgen, maar nu na een aantal weken loopt het gesmeerd.
De vormgeving is heel plezierig, dat motiveert om de transacties bij te houden. Het kunnen toevoegen van bijlagen is een enorm pluspunt en de terugkerende transacties schelen in het handmatig toevoegen.
De app werkt op de iPhone, iPad en Mac en via iCloud wordt alles gesynchroniseerd. Er is geen koppeling met banken en ik vind dat vanuit privacy oogpunt een pluspunt. Bovendien maakt het zelf toevoegen van transacties je juist heel bewust van wat er allemaal gebeurt met je geld.
Ik heb de eenmalige betaling gedaan en kan de app nu zonder verdere kosten gebruiken, terwijl je netjes updates krijgt. Compliment aan de maker voor dit alles!

Ik ben ontzettend blij met deze financiele app. Heb verschillende budget apps uitgeprobeerd, maar deze is het meest overzichtelijk. Vind het erg prettig dat ik de app kan gebruiken op zowel mijn iPhone, Mac als iPad.

Het is een fijne en goede app voor het bijhouden en budgetteren van je financien.
Ik heb vele apps geprobeerd, maar deze overtreft mijn verwachtingen.
