Terrible service and terrible help service
MeerAfter I waited for 5 min for the driver, driver canceled the drive after he saw me and recognized me as a passenger, this is so rude, so I contacted help service to report the driver they said drivers are independent and we can not do anything about it we are sorry. So funny that means whatever driver do to you they can not do anything. To me that is a security issue for passengers!

I ordered a Bolt Pet ride because I was traveling with a dog, but the driver refused to take us. This completely defeats the purpose of having a pet-friendly option.
Support only gave a generic response and did not resolve the issue or offer any compensation.

MeerI pre-booked this ride well in advance for 21:00. However, the driver "ghosted" the request and only cancelled at 21:10—10 minutes after the scheduled pickup time.
Your platform advertises "scheduled rides" as a way to ensure certainty and peace of mind. By allowing a cancellation after the scheduled time, you are failing your own service promise. This creates a massive paradox where the feature meant to provide security actually causes more risk, as it prevents users from arranging reliable alternatives in time. This failure left me and 5 friends (6 people total) stranded on the street at night. The social damage and stress of being left without transport as a large group is unacceptable.
Upon reaching out to support you get no human being whatsoever, it shouldnt even be allowed to be called SUPPORT. after 5 days the first human showed up in the support chat, saying “it may vary due weather conditions” and “we are just a platform”. Very very unprofessional and unreliable service. Save yourself time and dangeroures situations and just book an Uber in advance: they always show up.1door Fri*******01/04/2026Disappointing. MeerBolt’s scheduled ride is not a real reservation. They charge you more money only try to find a driver at the last minute and if none accept, you are left without transport. My ride failed at pickup time for an important medical appointment. No solution, no responsibility, and customer support refused any compensation. Misleading feature. If you actually need to be somewhere on time, use a real taxi company.

MeerI booked and paid for a ride for €4.68. A reservation of €4.68 was placed on my bank account.
The ride was later canceled, and I agreed to a different driver. After that, I received an invoice for €6.14.
The next day, I noticed that €1.46 had been debited from my account, and the day after that, another €6.14 was charged.
I am shocked that this is possible, as I only confirmed a payment of €4.68. Although the difference is small this time, it raises concerns that a larger amount could be charged in the future.

MeerDriver can repeatedly take and cancel your ride so you have no guarantee about arrival time. Also good luck trying to talk to a human doing support, its all just articles.

MeerWat een onhandig systeem dat je eerst moet betalen. Tot 2x toe op de airport taxi proberen te krijgen, €120 verder, geen taxi en wordt elke x geannuleerd door Bolt. Uber dan toch een betere app waarbij je gewoon via Paypal betaald als je rit is voltooid en niet dagen lang moet wachten op je geld terug van bolt

MeerI dont recommend bolt for people who dont want to wait for 15/20 minutes to find a driver. I would recommend any other company over bolt.

MeerJust arrived in Malaga, Spain. Bolt apps location settings are restricted, but I still received the message welcome to Spain and you can use Bolt. How? Probably mobile network settings, but this feels wrong?

MeerFirst time using the app. I requested a drive home from the airport and get charged even before any driver confirms. It was imposible to get a driver so I switch to Uber, where I got a driver right away. The charge I got before confirmation? I have to wait up to 14 days for the refund ON UNDELIVERED SERVICE. Support was of no help at all: “it will take up to 14 days”. Unbelievable and unacceptable.

MeerNot reliable at all. Keeps on giving low prices to compete but drivers never get there. The ETA constantly changes, drivers keep on cancelling and the whole experience with Bolt has been horrible. I was late several times and had to order another taxi service.
