BeatMaker 3

For the price it is lacking features (midi effects recording, sufficient soundbanks). Because of the hype, I thought I'd try it. Was disappointed. This can happen. Now, normally you can get a refund. Not in this expensive case. Product would have received 3 stars when refund was possible, now 1. Is 0 also a possibility. I feel robbed.

I can create beats, but after importing a midi file, I cannot create any new sound banks. Also, I can’t place the midi file on an existing track. So for use with my new iPad mini, BM3 is pretty much useless.

The app runs a lot smoother and stable. Now giving it 4 stars but if you can add a freeze button it saves us a lot of time and cpu if we are using a lot of processing power on the iPad Pro! For now I’ll just bounce that specific track, open up a new audio track and drag my bounced file from there. Let me know when it’s time to earn my 5th star!

I used to love this DAW but it seems to crash many times. I been waiting for a update but it takes pretty long and makes it kinda not fun to work with. Hope to see a stable release soon so that I cash change it to 5 stars. +1 on mp3 support

This app is really unstable. I should’ve read the reviews prior to purchasing... this sucks. Does not work properly with Audiobus or IK plugins. Money wasted.

I am a bit disappointed right now. Just after buying the app and trying to create a little drum loop with just two banks made Beatmaker crash. It happens repeatedly even after trying the same thing again. I‘ve only heard good stuff about the app but I suppose I have to go back to my other DAWs if Beatmaker 3 doesn‘t do what it promises...

The app is absolutely beautiful with a lot of fuctions and visual response. But right now it stopped functioning properly a lot of sounds stay silent and/or there is delay in the buttons so I cannot really make music.. Pitty cause i really like what it did!

Super tool, in combinatie met een synth alles wat je nodig hebt om muziek te maken.. gebruik samen met audiobus 3, en je hebt een super tool m muziek te componeren... aar heb je geen ableton voor nodig.

When you create auto save functionality,make sure it works
Losing an hour of work sucks and makes me not opening it again,
I only use basic stuff on a 2018 iPad...

The only thing I mis, is the midi learn function.
It binds OK but don't work yet,
I hope you can fix that.
I know that I can use the macros for this,
But I have more controllers and want to use them too.
Sound quality is good.
Is iT possible to have start and end point
From the sampler to control? By CC.

I've tried pretty much every iOS DAW, and stuck with this one. It is very powerful, yet intuitive. Nice job, devs!
Some things that I’d love to see: more tools for looping samples, auto slice that uses the audio, a synthesizer.

1 thing the iPad pro don't update to the 3.0.9 version.
After update I see the version 3.0.8

Heavy program, nice for iPad Air 2 and beyond.
I can use 1 drum track and the next track I get crackling sounds.
I hope the next update is more friendly for older iPad versions, but I'm afraid that it's not gone happen.
Or maybe 1 last update only for the older versions.
And after that only for iOS 11.

I bought BeatMaker 1, then beatmaker 2 now beatmaker 3. So I'm a big fan. I must say BM3 has much more options, now I have to watch tutorials to use all the fantastic options. I'm loving it.
