ASUS Router

Router gekocht ivm slecht bereik, makkelijk in te stellen, behalve de wan ivm Odido. Via Google is dat ook gelukt, ben zeer tevreden.

The router is easy to use and to install whit the app is it secure and of you use the push notificaties you know who Connect to your network

Dont buy. Its a big headache to install. Probably wont even install

The App is a nice addition to the RT-AX57 Go travel router. However, I’m facing some issues.
- When a custom SSID has been set with a custom private IP range, this app cannot use the quick connect functionality anymore. There is a workaround using the web ui to setup WISP on a new travel location, but for my parents it’s too difficult to understand when borrowing my router. Easy fix for ASUS to implement I guess.
- When you have a Microsoft account connected with your ASUS Id, it’s not possible to use this in the app. It does support Google and other social accounts.
Besides these bugs, I like the app. For me the selling point compared to other brands was the option to configure WISP easily for my parents. Anyway, I hope ASUS will fix these “bugs”. Overall I’m happy with the app and the device.

This app must have one of the ugliest interfaces I’ve seen in a while. Can’t you just adhere to the iOS interface guidelines? Less is more.

Elke keer als ik de app opstart crasht deze na een aantal seconden. Het maakt niet uit of ik ergens op klik of dat ik alleen de app open hij crasht. Dit maakt het compleet onbruikbaar.

After removing the app and installing it again, i can’t connect to my router. Why does it try to use bluetooth when i’m already connected to the wifi? I gave acces to bluetooth, but doesn’t find a compatible device. Seems like the app want’s to do the first install procedure.

App works well. Connects to your router/so mesh kit easily. I personally used 2 ET12s and it’s never let me down.

App werkte prima, tot voor kort. Opeens kreeg ik een foutmelding en kon hij geen gegevens meer laten zien. Na herinstallatie krijg ik de keuze om een nieuw netwerk te configureren of een verbonden router te beheren, maar beide opties lijken hetzelfde te doen. Ik moet, ook bij die laatste optie, steeds alle stappen doorlopen (QR code scannen of handmatig verbinden) maar wat ik ook probeer, ik kom niet verder. Waardeloos.

Prima app met voldoende functies met een web interface voor de gevorderde gebruiker (ZenWifi AX) App werkt snel en betrouwbaar. Mooi en logisch vormgegeven.

De ZenWifi Ax valt iedere keer zomaar uit. Geen oorzaak te vinden. De router lampjes beginnen zomaar ineens snel blauw te knipperen en dus geen internet of WiFi meer. Daarna start het systeem weer spontaan op en begint weer blauw te knipperen na soms wel 15 min pas weer een groen lampje en weer internet. Daarna kan het ook nog wel een kwartier duren voordat alle aangesloten nodes weer verbinding hebben met de hoofdrouter. Al die tijd op de aimesh nodes geen WiFi. Dit gebeurt soms wel meerdere keren per dag, zomaar. Lees dit goed. Ik raad iedereen af om Asus aimesh en ZenWifi te gaan gebruiken. Zeer onbetrouwbaar! Dat dit inferieure product nog op de markt is!

Since recently (since the latest version?) I cannot connect to my RC-AC68U anymore using this app.
I get the error ‘unable to reach’, while this has never been the case. Switching off remote connection or restarting the device does not make a difference!

Where is the VPN option or VPN Fusion menu? I don’t see this new features in the app….

Ik mis ontzettend de functie, push bericht nieuw apparaat meld zich aan, met de vraag of ik het hier mee eens ben. Zo niet dat ik dan het apparaat er ook weer uit kan gooien en of blokkeren.
Dit zou top zijn, ik heb dit lang geleden ook al eens gevraagd via de mail, nooit niks meer van gehoord.

Werks perfectly. I mainly use it to see in which access point I’m connected currently. And to check on firmware updates.

When I have network issues. Like package loss this app does not help me at all to understand what is going wrong on the home
Network.

After update mesh, and all the connected WiFi devices are gone. Reinstall is not solve the problem. Not recommend this product anymore.
To ASUS; TEST BEFORE RELEASE

After installing the latest update the app crashes immediately after startup on all devices with iOS 15.2. App is completely useless now. Please fix this.
