This is one of the most usable frame-by-frame animation apps for the iOS platform.
However, there are two things that I find make working with the app more tiresome than necessary. It would be great if you could pick these up:
1) the onion skinning feature: the adjacent frames show up way too vague and even blurred (?) to be useful;
2) the frames 'shuffleboard' may work if you have less than, say, 50 frames. But when you have a lot more than that (and that happens pretty quickly) it becomes very tedious to use.
Instead, I would much rather see a one-dimensional row of frames with larger thumbnails, starting at the frame number where you were working on. Also, a "swap frames" button that would swap the current with the next frame would be really handy.
Some other ideas:
- possibility to have "add frame" create a frame with the same number of layers as the current one (and the same layer activated!);
- batch add layers / merge layers for multiple frames;
- have the copy / paste function paste the copied contents on the same position as where it came from
