The app is nice for discovering trails, and it does have a good selection of the basic trails. However, my experience was extremely frustrating when I tried to create and do a trail by myself. Despite the app supposedly supporting this, it was practically impossible to do.
I’m giving it 1 star because, if you want to build a platform around sharing and user-generated content, please make sure the basic functionality actually works properly before constantly pushing users toward paid features. The endless pop-ups and limitations are frustrating enough, but it becomes even worse when the core features aren’t properly implemented.
In my case, I also wanted to share something on Facebook. How is it possible that the app only gives me the option to share to Stories, but doesn’t let me post directly to my own Facebook wall? Seriously, how limited can the sharing functionality be?
You’re asking users to pay and trying to grow through funding and monetization, but the basic sharing and marketing functionality isn’t even properly developed. Before focusing on getting more money from users, focus on making the existing features work seamlessly.
The concept is good, but the execution needs a lot of work.
