Alina String Ensemble

Very straightforward and beautiful strings, maybe even better than the original. Also CPU friendly and available as AU3v.
I love it !

Every now and then only the horn button produces sounds the other buttons can be pushed but dont produce sound. The only way to fix is uninstall/reinstall the app.
When everything works the sound is rather diapointing. I owned solina and eminent organs in the past. Alina should be improved on this point. The sustain breaks off when to many keys are played. I think i paid to much for this one but i hope feedback will lead to improvements.

Wanted to use my Alina app today as I was in need of some nice, lush stringsynth sounds. Whereas I could always rely on Alina before, this time I got terribly dissatisfied! First off I couldn't find the damn app since you changed the icon into some unrecogniseable cartoony toy-brand type logo. Once I had the app running it just didn't work anymore. I got sound alright but every register sounds exactly the same. So whether I choose bass, cello, viola etc... I always get the same "supersaw" sound with the same range and octave for every instrument. And well.... That sucks!

Mooie app met goede sound, maar...wie heeft dat app icoontje bedacht. Het lijkt nu wel een kinderspelletje!

Ik heb deze app eergisteren gedownload voor mijn iPad air 2. Aanvankelijk erg teleurgesteld. Wat een prulprogramma dacht ik, en wat dwaas om weer geld uit te geven aan iets waar je niets aan hebt, zoals de - peperdure - Korg module en de bijbehorende Ivory, die gewoon niet goed klinken.
Gisteren evenwel Alina opnieuw opgestart. Vooral de horns, i.c.m. audiobus en externe reverb klinkt echt fantastisch. Hé Pink Floyd's Echo's klinkt daar ineens en diverse andere deja vu's. Echt de mooiste strings die ik gehoord heb, en ik heb heel wat app's die geweldig klinken. Hoe bizar dat een firma in Bodegraven zo'n mooie sounds heeft kunnen creëren in de 70's. En eigenlijk prima geemuleerd voor iOS, zeker met Audiobus.
