Sometime ago there were two apps. One free ‘viewer’ app and a paid one with more functionality like step-by-step solutions. I paid for the latter but now the extra functionality are gone and require a subscription. I want my money back or –and rather– the extra functionalities.

deze door mij regelmatig gebruikte app is opeens dom geworden en kan de normale input niet meer begrijpen, en na veel moeite gedaan te hebben, gaat de app er nu toch echt af bij mij.

the picture scanner does not parse the input half the time, there is nothing impressive about the data returned for a query, Google will do the same for free and does not have such a miserable interface. I am so disappointed in this piece of junk that I wish there were negative stars to be given. since this is a paid app, I would in closing like to add that this may have a negative impact on app store sales, because anyone buying this as their first app will think twice before ever buying another app. yuch! and yes, I have an academic engineering background, so I am not looking up information on fluffy kittens

The app for everyone who likes background information. For example: “the number of light years to the Milky Way” will result in a lot of information that will make you reading about other subjects like parsecs.
It uses official notation units, etc. For example speed is defined as having a basic dimension of [length][time]-1 (power).
A must have for all technicians, nerds!

what is the app for. Mathematica is not intended for siri-chatters or "fact"-seekers.

Ik heb net de full app van € 3,49 geïnstalleerd op mijn iPhone 7 met iOS 10.3.1. Als ik siri vragen stel krijg ik geen wolfram antwoorden en als ik wolfram vragen stel, zoals bijvoorbeeld "wolfram, goud", krijg ik steeds "daar kan ik niks over vinden op wolfram alpha." Ik heb spijt van mijn aankoop.

Worth every penny, very handy app. It can do all kinds of complex calculations and it will show you a step by step solution.

Ik had eerst een app om valuta om te rekenen, een voor lengte e.d. omrekenen, een woordenboek etc. Maar in deze app zit dat allemaal al! Gewoon vragen wat je wil weten en 19 van de 20 keer krijg je precies wat je zoekt!

Dit is een geweldige app. Het werkt beter dan de website vanwege het uitgebreide toetsenbord. En de vragen die het beantwoord zijn zo divers dat het gewoon leuk is om dingen te proberen. Van complexe wiskundige problemen tot feitjes. Maar ook iets berekenen als BMI is geen probleem. Gewoon intypen "BMI 183cm 76kg" en je krijgt alle informatie.
