Wattpad

Nooit problemen gehad tot een week geleden. Als ik een boek aan het lezen ben, sluit de app zomaar af. Als ik de app dan opnieuw open, doet die hetzelfde weer binnen een minuut. Hierdoor kan ik praktisch gezien geen boeken meer lezen.

Love the app. User friendly. Many options. Please never start using AI like every other app now. I can’t go without this app. AI is bad for the environment.

App is very laggy, it’s not keeping track of where you left with reading and i need to log in everytime i open the app WITH premium

Love the app but after every chapter you get an add which is really annoying also please make 3 free offline places instead of two. Love how there are so many good books

it’s a pretty nice app but how do I get people to view my book more? also whenever I view one of my own chapters it counts as if a reader has read it even though it was me please do something abojt that because now I don’t know if the views on my book are mine or from other readers.

I open it and it just freezes and it does nothing. Same thing over and over, even when i close the whole app and restart it again. I also think the fact yall delete stories and not draft bc they don’t match the guidelines is stupid af. At least make it as a draft, ur deleting people’s hard work.

Wattpad has changed immensely over the years; for the worse I’d say. It used to be pretty simple, fan fictions and other things but they keep trying to be super ‘corporate’ with their originals and the advertisements, ruining the entire vibe of the app itself, sure, premium is fine but it doesn’t provide much besides for people who like to read. If you’re a writer then all it does is give you a new theme, (That would’ve been better if you had custom colours even.)
I’m only on Wattpad because it’s simple to store my stories here for myself that I’ll never publish anyways, every time I go to the homepage it’s an eyesore. Wish they’d make more room for hobby writers rather than stuff all these things down our throats, or make us disable and enable certain Home Screen things or make it more minimal and simple to look at than being bombarded with stories you have 0 interest in.
Seriously? All this ‘Dark Romance’ and ‘Alpha’ things are really cringe and I have no interest but I also can’t seem to disable those or get them away.
Im an adult, but still, they’re too uninteresting and most stories are replicas of each other with other people’s names and quirky characters. Wattpad is losing its spark.
Still looking for a different app to store stories on.

I can't write on my phone because the keyboard is blocking my paragraph so I'm not able to see what I write! Its very annoying. I love this app but please fix it!

Ik vind wattpad geweldig! Ik heb het al 11 jaar. Alleen is er sindskort een rare bug in de app waardoor je toetsenbord niet onder je geschreven tekst opduikt, maar er op. Hierdoor kan ik de laatste alinea niet bewerken omdat het toetsenbord niet goed meewerkt. Dat belemmert het schrijven wel een beetje. Vandaar 4 sterren ipv 5. Wattpad: kunnen jullie dit alsjeblieft fixen?

Why does the app keep logging me out, every hour?! Please, fix this because it’s hella annoying…

I’ve recently tried logging in on my old account, didn’t work. So I just made a new one with a new email. It’s saying unable to make an account. I fit ALL requirements please fix this

Idk why but i changed my password via a mail and when u change it ur on the site but then i log in on the app and my new password doesnt work now i can only view my account online not on the app itself

Geweldige update Wattpad. De reclames die nu tijdens je verhaal op het scherm flikkeren onderaan je balk zijn verschrikkelijk.

App is echt heel fijn alleen vind ik het jammer dat er na elke hoofdstuk een reclame komt en dat je niet kan luisteren naar luisterboeken maar het is wel een hele goede en fijne app❤️

I was addicted to Wattpad and read a lot of stories over and over again. Unfortunately the last couple of months WP deletes stories without any notification. All the hard work from the writers and loved books from the readers gone! The writers didn’t even get the option to save their work. Very disappointing.
