United Airlines

Heb de United app maar is niet heel logisch allemaal. Geen mogelijkheid om een koffer voor ruimbagage toe te voegen tenzij je een inwoner bent van de US, dan bestaat die optie wel. Maar ja, er reizen ook mensen van buiten de US wel eens met het vliegtuig. Voor het inchecken al alle gegevens ingevuld, moet bij het inchecken nogmaals. Beetje dubbelop allemaal. Verder wel een goede maatschappij om mee te vliegen.

Erg vervelend dat alle informatie opnieuw ingevoerd moet worden en dat je er dan ook tegen aanloopt dat je geen US billing adress hebt en daardoor niet koffers online kunt inboeken

In some countries in Europe people travel under “and/or” last name. This indicates that they may go by married or maiden name which is also shown under Last Name in the passport. The app does not take notice of that and keeps refusing the scan. This is very frustrating.

We booked our tickets with Air Canada and United on a codeshare itinerary and the experience was terrible. There were multiple issues throughout the trip, and when we asked for help, each airline kept blaming the other instead of taking responsibility or offering a real solution. Terrible experience with both! I will avoid both airlines in the future.

One almost most follow a complete study to be able to reach the final goal: checking in. Maybe you can make things a bit easier…

This app has never worked properly people with low vision using built-in accessibility software from apple. The app looks pretty, but it doesn’t work the way it should especially with navigation text size and screen settings And it’s like the people who made this app. Have actually tried to scan a passport or seen in US passport what it looks like s because it takes somebody with good eyes 5 to 8 minutes to scan a passport and it never ever saves it even though you tell it to save it so you don’t have to do it again so with every flight, you have to scan the passport inbecause it doesn’t ever save or upload to the system. And now this app is mandatory use for checking and get on a plane and booking tickets when your pass rider. The main issue with the passport is the coatings make a glare with all the holograms and it never lines proportionally up and constantly rejects the submission. Plus the no saving thing. The app developers should actually try to do it

Hard to rate an app that doesn't allow you to use it. It keeps freezing and crashing seconds after opening

The app asks for the same stored information every time I use it for flight checkin.
Even after requesting if it should be stored! When travelling internet access is not always available.
This is not the first time this has happened in United travel ready.

Ingechecked en dan kan je de boarding pass niet in de apple wallet zetten. Er is wel een icoon maar die heeft geen functie. Als je geen mileage plus lid ben kan je niets doen. Waardeloos.

Need a US address for most functionalities. Baggage allowance on website different than on app. Makes app pretty useless. And then they advertise that you can’t find a better app anywhere. Honestly…

This app has one job: to retrieve boarding pass to apple wallet. It fails at this job.

I need help and at the airport they do they don’t help me. I tried to scan the qr for help, but my WiFi was not good enough? And with the app no help either. Never united again.

What a tedious process to check in via the app Nd it crashes when you want to add your cresitcard. If only one developer would try to check-in for
multiple persons he would find 10 illogical things. Like when you reach the end there is no done button. You have to press the X close button. But if you press that same button halfway (like trying to see if there are better seats and then try to get out of that you cancelled the whole check-in procedure). Very poor app for such a big company.

Did not accept my credit card because it insisted on a State in USA and not Netherlands. Then I had to start whole process again.

On our flight on Sunday morning h at 7.15 we had ™ the nicest stewardess, a nice surprise, on United! Give our thanks! Tammy, you were the best stewardess ever!

I have my worst travel experience with united. First time they canceled my afternoon flight in early morning.Second time I missed my flight due to delay in their previous flight after waiting in queue whole night for 5 hours they give me next day flight without any hotel

The app doesn’t work properly on iPhone. Not possible to get the boarding passes, doesn’t share to other apps, and crashes several times on my iPhone 13 pro.
