This restaurant has one of the Italian pizza of the city, that is why I decided to celebrate my 40th birthday there with my friends (and our kids). Also, it has an outdoor area next to a park, what I thought it was ideal.
Unfortunately, the manager was really rude about the fact that we brought kids. When she saw the first kid arriving she took me aside and told me that she didn’t know that kids were coming and the reservation was for 21 people, not for kids (apparently our 8 kids are not people are something else).
I asked her to have the pizzas to take away to reduce her stress and so that I have the party that I expected to have. She told me literally that it was not fair for her business. This all happened even before the 8 kids arrived and did something.
This whole situation forced us to pay extra attention of the kids so that they basically NOT BREATHE and bother the other costumers. It was so uncomfortable and my party was completely spoiled.
A note for the future, if a person call to book for a group of people and you do not like kids, it is your responsibility to ask for the number of kids, not the person calling. I book in restaurants with my family all the time and I always book for 3, no for 2 adults and 1 kid, since we need 3 chairs, 3 meals and we will pay for 3.
