This app works similar to Tinder, except there are more phishing accounts and spammers. The main flaw is the notification mechanism. The only thing you could get is the banner notification with a ring tone, but there is no red badge on the app’s icon or lingering banner in the notification centre. This is also the reason why I often tend to forget to check this app and reply to those guys several days or weeks later.
This is certainly not a good strategy to keep users’ preference for this app when Grindr even provides those basic notification services nowadays.
