Steps - Activity Tracker

Even though the app is synced to my Apple Watch and counts the steps on my watch, it doesn’t count those steps in the app. In the app it only counts the steps of my iPhone which doesn’t align with my actual steps taken. That makes my history in the app not accurate. Very disappointing, but at least I can see my actual steps on my Apple Watch on the day itself.

More than a month ago I emailed the customer service (see below). Unfortunately I haven’t gotten a response. Very disappointed.
“Thank you for your reply on my review of your app. However, before I wrote the review I already checked if everything was connected and Steps is connected to my Apple health and Apple health does state the accurate data of my steps. So that is not the problem. If you have another solution I’d be happy to check that out.” ( to be clear; I also included my review and your response in my email).

Counts shaking my phone as steps, although I only want it to use data from Apple Health (which is more accurate bc of Watch).

It’s beyond me why Apple won’t allow its native OS show a widget of steps on their devices natively. I’ve used another app which turned into a subscription nightmare with adds popping up every time I opened it.
This app is simple, well designed and well priced as a one time purchase. Just great! Does all it should, show me the step counts on iPhone & Apple Watch.

Like the titel is saying this app is the most accurate step count available. Using it for the last two years without any issues. It connects perfectly between the iPhone and the Apple Watch, and the step count syncs very good. My advice buy the pro version for the best results. It’s cheap and worth the money.

Steps is constantly far too optimistic compared to Apple Health (connected to an Apple Watch 6). On average Steps shows 10% more steps when I walked. Only after long walks (10,000 steps or more) the difference is fairly small and acceptable. Riding a bike for half an hour fools Steps even more: while Apple Health counts this as less than 4000 steps, Steps shows almost 6000 steps!

The app is good and shows your steps, distance and calories. It would be nice to be able to import data from apple health so you can track how you’re doing compared to past activities. The import of historical data would really add something valuable.

Sins yesterday the steps take a while for it to show in the app, irritating! Please fix that! Didn’t have ant updates going in when i look in my ap store

It used to work perfectly fine and I was happy with it, but lately it's taken to logging cycling as walking. So if I cycle 40 km, it thinks I walked that. Please fix!

Easy to use and keeps track accurately of steps taken and sends them to the health app for analysis.

Telt soms stappen niet en vreet stroom. Batterij gaat 3 x zo snel leeg als zonder deze app. Wel fijn dat dit een van de weinige stappentellers is die werkt op oudere iPhones (5 en ouder) omdat geen interne sensor nodig is.

Simple, gives a good overview (much more clear than Apple's health app).
Sometimes it doesn't refresh the count the next day.
