Space Age: A Cosmic Adventure

Well worth it's price, Space Age tells a story in familiar way. Great writing, design and music all help in a imaginative adventure with a comfortable 70's style.

I was expecting good things, but this fails to deliver. Shame. Some nice ideas in the story but the simply cringeworthy and childish writing gets annoying fast. Add to that the tedious, simplistic 'puzzles' and the inability to skip dialogues and you have the makings of a very boring and frankly overpriced game.

Veel meer verwacht dan gekregen. Een puzzel-game met een verhaallijn over gestrande aardbewoners op Mars en boze aliens. Niet avontuurlijk. Ook niet spannend maar zelfs een beetje saai. Jammer, vandaar 2 sterren.

I really understood and got excited about the concept for the game. However, its execution was rather poor. The old school graphics do not create the desired effect of being retro, and feel simply poor. The dialogues are somewhat amusing at best. Complexity very not challenging. Controls of the team members not entirely intuitive. The only very positive aspect of the game is the pretty good music.
