Reeder Classic

One small request. It's really distracting that the header of a feed moves from the left side to the middle, when I start scrolling through the item list. Please don't do that. Or include it in the Animation settings as an option. Thank you!

I’m under the impression that Reeder Classic is increasingly unstable since the new Reeder with subscription payment is available.

For any given feed, any sync after initial never competes. I have around twenty feeds, hn main page for example just keeps spinning and never finishes.

For the past year i’ve been trying to combine reading instead of manually entering each individual site and being at times exposed to massive amounts of adds.
After trying out Reeder in both my iPhone, iPad and macOS I’m entirely convinced this was the right choice. The amount of customization and sync across the devices is just perfect!
Last but not lest the UI feels modern and very up to date!

This is the number one app I can’t live without. It’s so good. Love the animations, fluidness and the love and care that went into it. It’s so awesome!

I bought the iOS and mac version. Unfortunately there is no icloud feeds sync between mac and iOS. This is an important flaw.

This is a great RRS reeder, especially after this update, love the customizations. Used this reeder from the beginning, i missed iCloud sync, but now it is realized.
But i have also a few requests:
- would like to reorder,rearrange/group the accounts by myself instead of alphabetically
- to create categories, a separator between the rearranged/ grouped accounts with an option for a title bar (name category)

Dies ist eine große RRS reeder, vor allem nach diesem Update, Liebe die Anpassungen. Verwendet diese reeder von Anfang an, ich vermisste immer iCloud sync, aber jetzt ist es realisiert.
Aber ich habe auch ein paar Wünsche:
- Ich würde gerne die Konten neu anordnen, neu gruppieren statt alphabetisch
- um Kategorien zu erstellen, ein Trennzeichen zwischen den neu angeordneten/gruppierten Konten mit einer Option für eine Titelleiste ( Nemens Vergebung pro Kategorie)

Images in blogs that need Reader View are not always visible. A lot time images are missing. This requires switching to full web view bet then it is not possible to move to next article without going back. This is not that convenient.
Maybe it would be possible to use Safari reader view instead of custom parser.
Version 5 is aggressively hiding controls which require addition tap to show them again. I preferred behavior of version 4.
Besides these issues it is still the best RSS reader app.

Since the last update the app is synchronizing all the time without doing anything most of the times. And when it does, it doesn’t update the read articles.
I’ve asked, via a webform, the developer for advice but no reply after almost a week.

Look no further when needing a RSS reader. This is the best: locally/iCloud fetch of rss, reading customization etc.

Not sure why, but there’s no option to actually set an update interval. Choosing ‘background refresh’ is the same as refreshing feeds manually; you’ll always have to update manually with this app. This app looks nice but its’ functionality is quite disappointing.

Ik heb altijd al Reeder gebruikt en elke nieuwe update download ik graag. Fantastische app. En synchroniseren via iCloud is geweldig! Geen dienst van een derde meer nodig.

After having used every iteration since its inception I have never been disappointed. I like the grey look without any distraction (I did turn off the new previews right away though).

Reeder 4 has been one of my favourite apps so upgrading to 5 was a no-brainer. Switch to 5 was easy and looking forward to try icloud sync soon.

This is now my new go to app for my news via RSS. (Used reeder 4 before reeder 5 released.) It everything what makes reeder 4 the best + some nice quality of life adding/changes.
And the iCloud sync is amazing. Now i can use reeder (5) on all my devices without the frustration of unread articles that i had already read on my other device.
Is an must buy for reader 4 users and users who want to read RSS feeds in just one app.

iCloud sync is amazing and finally allows me to get rid of other providers. I noticed during my reading that bionic reading doesn’t support Korean. Would this be possible? Thank you so much
