Pocketpedia

No development. Leaving you with an app that does not work properly anymore, is outdated and leaving you with a huge, useless collection of DVD’s, CD’s and books.
Companion OSX apps are still sold by the way, but beware. It does not work properly!

Seems to be handy to register your books but...
-Lots of Dutch titles don't appear.
-Bug found when editing a title; the text held under copy/paste appears unasked when entering a field.
-why on earth isn't it possible to copy text from an items' page?!

Very good app to manage my big dvd and Blu Ray collection. Very easy to use. It works flawless with the desktop version. It can do anything that you might wish. Add ratings, trailers, IMDB information and create smart folders.
I use the software for many years now and it's only getting better. Though it's been a while since there was an update for this app.
The only that should be adjusted is the location of the search field.
The magnifying glass is too tiny to use it easily.
Not very serious but still ...

Adding books is fairly easy, but sync is not cloud-based and you cannot mark books as read.

I'm a big pedia/bruji fan for a long time and was looking forward to this release .......I'm delighted that it is released & it works perfectly. Essential for every (cd)pedia user!

I really like DVDpedia. This app would be really nice too if it worked. I was able to sync with dvdpedia, worked really well, but now the iPad version shuts down 3 seconds after starting up, evry time. So, Bruji, PLEASE DEBUG pocketpedia.

IT is a very nice product. It is easy to wrok and it realy does what it promises. The only issue is the synchronisation of the pics.

Very handy to have at hand on the go.
I use on my Mac their Book- and DVDPedias.
All very stable apps. The sync with Pocketpedia works ok.
- iCloud integration would indeed be nice
- maybe in the planning: dvd- and book barcodes scanning with PocketPedia possible ?
With these 2 extra functionalities it will sure get 5 stars.
The Doghouse service = really nice and fast.

A must have if you own a pedia and an iOS device.
Would love to see:
- iCloud integration
- More themes
- a scrol bar that also shows the search icon. (the vertical ABC bar on the right)

Well worth the wait. Finally freed my catalog from the shackles of my desktop! Always room for more improvements/features but its a great app to start the new and improved PP3 party! And all that for a very reasonable price.
