If you want to use this as an alternative to paper spaar zegels for promotions don’t bother, you’ll probably mess it up. First it’s like 3 clicks to register them at the self checkout, and it’s not instant so you don’t know if it worked until later, and it a lot of times it doesn’t. Then with this recent plants action you had to wait until the collection period was over, then use the digital spar cards to buy vouchers only available at the service counter, then finally you could use those to get a discount plant. Needless to say I had “user error” in this process and was told I did it wrong when I went to redeem, despite saving up 5 cards worth. Like what is the point of doing this digitally at all if it’s just going to add extra steps? Anyway what was a fun bonus is now only frustration.
