Owaves: Welzijn Dagplanner

I love the idea and concept that you just put your planning in circular diagram. I actually see a lot of potentials on this app. Maybe adding feature for tracking the day if it has done as planned or done but with time and duration adjusted; overall progress weekly, monthly, yearly to see progression of self improvement and discipline; more customised colours en icons. And perhaps tool/app tips or simple tutorial would be really handy to be added.

But I can’t sync my normal calendar with this :/ it just says let’s do this but then it doesn’t actually let me. Help?

I like many others am very intrigued by your app. The clock style is very unique. I’m bummed though that the iPad version is so watered down. I would much prefer to use my iPad since I only use it for work, and I tend to get distracted more easily when I pick up my phone. Plus, I prefer using a larger screen if I can. Especially since the iPhone app is quite buggy with recognizing where my finger is. Also, it didn’t seem to sync with my iPhone, which is a big problem. What’s the point of even having an iPad app in that case? Maybe something went wrong there, so I'll try downloading it again. It’s also very strange that there is no settings section at all in the iPad version, where I could potentially fix a syncing issue.

Great app! Really useful and easy to use. But some changes would make it perfect.
1). Customizable category names instead of having to change it every block.
2). Customizable quote, instead of “cArPe DiEm!” everywhere.
3). An option to change the am/pm to 24hour clock in notifications.
Besides that a very nice app.

I was curious for the app, recommended by a YouTuber. Upon opening I clicked the eat category, only to realise they had included a link to an intermittent fasting article and said that they recommend a limited eating window. Although this eating window was 8 to 12 hours long, any form of fasting/restricting is disordered eating. As someone with an eating disorder, I will be deleting this app again. There is no need to promote diet culture in a planning app.

I came across oWaves in a HowToADHD video, and I really liked the concept of using owaves to keep tabs on how my daily routines affect the time in my day. The app could even work with google calendar — where I store all my appointments, and I could use different icons within one colour to indicate what each slice of the day was used for what routine. It could have been a very good tool in my daily planning toolbox.
However I was disappointed to see that the software I downloaded was very basic and did not have the features I saw in all the promotional material, which confused me. After some testing with the iPhone of a friend, that confusion turned to dissappointment as I found out that i got the short end of the stick by downloading the iPad-version.
I use my iPad essentially as a larger version of a smartphone, and so I do not (plan to) own an iPhone anytime soon. The two devices are soo similar that it shouldn’t matter which one you have for the software that runs on it, but for this app, there it sadly does.

As more Europeans have pointed out the app is great but too North American centered. Settings for a 24h time setting and Monday being the stray of the week would be great. More color options too.
Nevertheless I use this app so I have an overview of the day to come.

Uses the am/pm system, would love something for us euros, too complicated this way

I like the app, the ideas behind it and the interface. But with only a pm/am system, the app is too difficult and counter intuitive for me, as I am used to a 24h system. Too bad.

Its so convenient I use it every day. Even tho it doesn’t do much more it’s amazing

Recently I was diagnosed with ADD. In my research two methods that might be working for me I found Awaves.
It’s intuitive.I still need to make it fit in in my life.but I think this is eventually going to work for me.
But! Please add 24-hour time display. I really miss that right now.I understand the AM/PM time display but it’s just not my thing. Perhaps because I am European I don’t know but please make it possible.
Also it would be great if I could design my own events icons to place on the donut. I did find the plus to make one myself but it’s too limited for me.
Overall keep up the good work!

Ik zou het wel fijn vinden als je ook iets wat 5 of 10 minuten duurt er in kon zetten (nu is het minimaal 15 minuten)
