Navionics® Boating

After latest update, the app crashes when you want to import a gpx route. Worked before update

I like the price and quality. However, I am running a Yacht Device wifi gateway and my app is only reading depth, AIS and gps-position from my nmea-network. It is unable to show me my SOG and COG/heading. Strange, because I dont have trouble with my GPS-connection. If that would be fixed, 5 stars!

According to all the information I can find about Navionics Boating, it should be possible to see currents.
However, wherever I click on the Navionics Boating map (along the Portuguese coast, Strait of Gibraltar, etc.) I keep getting the message “no information available at locations in the area”.
When I call the support department, I get a Belgian speaking gentleman on the phone, who first tells me that he cannot provide any information about Navionics products

Since the last update it drains the battery in not time! This needs to be fixed team.

Just updated and got the “Garmin” new look now. Well that’s pretty much all I see. It takes forever to load and when it finally does it’s stuck right away. I can’t zoom or move my chart. I’m at sea at the moment finishing up a delivery. This is NOT what I needed at all! Restarted my phone several times already but doesn’t make a difference

Sailing through the South Pacific the last 2 years and until now it was great. The bing satellite overlay is no longer available and therefor is the navionics charts almost not USA le anymore. The chart itself is totally not accurate but the bing sattelite overlay one can see all reefs, underwater rochs, shallows etc but now it’s not available anymore the navionics is pretty useless!

Aangegeven diepten dramatisch onnauwkeurig 1.50. Is op de kaart 3.5 meter. IJsselmeer 6 meter in werkelijkheid 2.90 tot 3 meter

Na de laatste update werkt de functie importeren AIS gegevens vanaf een YachtDevices WifiGateway niet meer. Erg vervelend als je ver van huis de app bijwerkt en je nog een paar shipping lanes over moet steken om thuis te komen.

Kaarten betaald maar b&g krijgt maar geen update, route plannen kan niet meer via pc.
Navionics was een mooi bedrijf maar Garmin ver uit de buurt blijven. Dus abonnement opgezegd!

I have been using the app for 5 years. The most recent addition of actually seeing vessels's names rather than their MMSI, is another improvement. On my devices, iPhone, iPad Pro and Samsung tablet, it is working great and it is stable. I also use iNavX, but I find Boating slightly more comfortable to use. Especially the measuring tool is easier to use.
Good thing is also, they listen to the users and the customer service is very good.

I really love the app, but, after an update, I can only use it on only two devices. I use it on my iPad Pro and iPhone, and my partners phone. Now one must log out. Really hope that I can use it on more devices within my Apple acount.

Both the iPhone and iPad app crash after 30 seconds when starting up. This is not reliable when you’d like use this for navigation…

Dear developers. Thank you for listening to your users. I sail at night very often. The new night color palette is super useful! Well done.

If I open de app it stays open for 30seconds and then crashes. Updated de app my phone and closed al other apps no difference

After purchasing various charts in the previous environment (Navionics), they were successfully restored a few times upon switching to Boating (UK, Ireland & Holland - Greek Ionian). However, after selecting "restore purchases," it now displays "subscription expired." I did not have a subscription at all - I had purchased the charts! So, kindly restore everything as purchased, or I would like to request a full refund.

Crashes all the time! This is a pity since it has nice features. Will not buy unless a stable version is released. Disappointing for a company like Garmin.
Using iPhone 14 pro with latest software, no apps in background…

Erg instabiele app, moet vaak 4-5 keer proberen voordat de app het blijft doen. Op zowel iPad als iPhone versie. Bedroevend gelet op de prijs van de kaarten. Aks het eenmaal werkt wel prima, maar ook biet super. Coördinaten van route waypoints bijv niet eenvoudig te achterhalen.

The latest version 19.0.2 crashes an awful lot on my iPhone 12. Send some feedback in the app. Hope you get your technical debt sorted quickly.
Only when this app works, it’s worth paying for. All information in your hand and handy routing makes boat life easier. If you can’t trust the app to work it makes boat life more dangerous.
