Just arrived at LAX. First time use of Lyft. Lyft charges me 110$. Driver arrived after 10 minutes and offered to cancel the ride, because he would only get 40 dollars. I would be able to pay in cash 70 dollars for the same ride. Totally ridiculous that a driver gets so little pay for all of the time spent. Strongly discourage the use of Lyft.

I used the app for a bike rental in NY. 2 people, 2 e-bikes. We drove for roughly 1,5h. We had a promotion code, so 2x €19 discount. We still had to pay €40 in total. So without the discount, it would have been €80. What a total rip off. €5 for unlocking the bike, what the heck.

illegal drivers and unclean and broken cars they are the ones that destroy the country not the hard working people. that pay for a safe ride they deserve. back to uber.

Decided to try Lyft - ordered a taxi (XL) from Irvington, NY to JFK, got Toyota Sienna with 5 star rating shown in the app. The car is around 20 years old, airco doesn’t work, bumper cracked with a tape on it… is it a joke?
No reliance on the rankings at all, don’t use it!

It’s a nightmare, I want to delete my account because the app doesn’t work in the Netherlands, but it’s impossible.
There are a number of steps, links, verifications where you keep going back and forth and at the end you still can’t delete the account!
I want to delete my account!

I used the app on my vacation to new york, and i used this app a couple of times, it works very good, and the drivers i met where very comfortable and friendly, and a ride is most times cheaper than an uber… nice!

As a foreign visitor to the US, I had all my dollars in one account to which my card was connected. It wiped out all my cash by freezing most of the money in there with 2.5x the cost of the Lyft rides in pending. I don’t have this problem with Uber.

You can wait as long as you want. The indication time is a joke no one will show up

You cannot register if you have a Dutch or other international phone numbers. That means it is reserved to US phone numbers. Crazy in 2023!

Rides are really good, they drive safely and are good drivers, app is easy to use, drivers don’t talk very much… which is awkward sometimes….rest is good

We have downloaded Lyft and could only used it ones, because it no longer working. We can’t order een driver, even though we have the money on the app to pay for the driver. We need to keep adding credit card and still it isn’t letting us order a driver. The prices keep changing even when we are trying to order a driver. It takes so long that by the end of ordering it is way more expensive then when we began ordering.
It has to be the worst app for a driver I have ever seen. To everyone that is thinking about using lyft, don’t. It will screw you over.

who has two creditcards, and why does it tell to add the second one after i want to book a ride. Got a yellow cab instead and never using this app again.

Received referral link leads to nowhere. Once installed via AppStore the app keeps asking for additional payment options.. I’ve now added two credit cards and PayPal and still not able to book a ride. I went back to Uber, that works flawlessly

Was traveling in de USA and wanted a taxi from downtown to the hotel. Downloading app was easy. Giving my Visa info too. Ready to go BUT the app asked for more info about the credit card than I could give. So we walked.
Few days later I thought it wise to put cash money on the app. If that would work the creditcard problem would not be repeated. Put $75 on it for a ride to the airport. Did not work either. It is not cash: a valid card is still necessary! Helpdesk did not no what was wrong. Now I am home and Lyft refuses to return the $75. HM Meijerink

Long waiting time before they find a driver. When they have a driver finally he canceled the drive. This happens a lot. Very annoying.

They charged me a 499% without any notification meaning over 400 USD!
Don’t use this app or be super careful when you book! Also the driver get not even 70% of the price according the the driver I had.

Lyft app works good. Order a taxi and see the price and car is a simple task. Then you see which driver comes with what car. We are very satisfied.

I added $50 Lyft Cash and it wouldn’t let me use it. None of the other payment options work either.
