Langrisser

When Fire Emblem was released for Nintendo it was an immense hit. A year later Langrisser came on the scene for the SEGA Mega Drive in an attempt to get a similar reaction from the enormous fan base of Record of Lodoss War. Record of Lodoss War was a pen and paper play trough of a modified Dungeons & Dragons tabletop campaign in Japan back in the 80s. Now we have the eleventh turn-based strategic RPG game set in Landgrisser’s world.
The recognisable and iconic art by Satoshi Urushihara was abandoned for art by Ryo Nagi that unfortunately makes the game look cheap. The new character designs tend to remove a lot of the characters individuality. Also no anime cutscenes were added like the original games previously had. Ryou Nagi also redesigned the characters for the remake YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World, and that remake and Langrisser suffer from the same character design problem, though I believe most people discovering the series or who aren’t longtime anime fans do not care.

After an update, i had to login again. Been playing this game since day one. Never needed to log off and in again. Totally forgot my login credentials. Now all is gone. [Update] : Turned out it was a temporarily login issue on the Rayguard Server. I can login again :) Adding 3 stars.

Heel leuk spel, maar bij elke update moet ik het spel verwijderen en opnieuw downloaden om het te kunnen spelen. Helaas werkt dat met de update van 16 mei ook niet en zecht het spel dat ik de nieuwe versie moet downloaden terwijl ik het spel net opnieuw heb geïnstalleerd.

The lastest app store update done while the game keep saying you need to do the latest update. so stuck there and called get in. Also tried deleting game and reinstall. does not work either. otherwise a 5 star good game

The tax that the App Store in my region puts on top of the prices is shocking.
Otherwise it’s an awesome game, deeper than FE mobile, and gives you way more for free.

Meeste van deze games zijn pay to win. Of daalt de voortgang tot bijna 0 tenzij je boosts koopt. Deze game heeft alle zelfde onderdelen maar alles wordt ruim aangeboden. Geen druk om iets te kopen.

Yes it has stuff you can buy with real money, however they are not greedy. You can get far without paying anything. Story telling is great. Man dont hesitate. Try it out. Ye im hooked.

Really loving this game. Gaining new heroes is great! I would love an option to zoom in on them so i could see them as a whole without all the extra info, menu options etc. Hopefully this could be added.

This game is one of the best strategy games i have played. I can’t wait until the next update for more guild features!

Since the game doesn’t tell you what the exact damage calulation formula is, you are left guessing the battle results instead of knowing how much damage you will put out/receive which limits strategic planning.
Needing to find this information through third-party sources is really bad for a strategy game. Here is hoping the developers become clearer in exchanging crucial information to the player.

I found this game through an ad on Instagram and decided to give it a try, it sure looked promising! Now that it is launched I got to say it is an amazing game. Good mechanics, not to difficult and pretty well balanced. I’d say I can’t wait to see what the they come up with next. Recommended for sure!

A great game has it share of inspirations namely fire emblem heroes.
But does enough to stand out from the crowd.
It’s story maybe simple but is still quit an enjoyable ride.
It’s still a gacha game trough and trough but it’s mechanics are fair.
