Good
MeerVery useful !but I would like it more if you mark the radicals of the kanji in another color so you can tap on it an actually see the radical! But i rlly love it

MeerAn excellent app. The only thing I'm missing is a good method to enter kanji, then it will get a 5 star rating.
4door Een*******28/04/2020Perfect kanji-companion
MeerEvery day I use your app to study Kanji, and it helps me greatly at it. I love how easy it is to study kanji and the card swiping feature works well. I am thankful that this app exists, and I thank you very much for it.
The app is also regularly updated with relevant changes (and yay it now has dark mode).
It is currently not possible to save progress you’ve made on learning cards. I hope there is a way to import/export that soon.
Thank you!4door Aga******26/12/2019Was excellent
MeerWas an excellent app, but the functionality is reduced dramatically. Being able to search on strokes was the of the major reason I bought it, but is no longer available. Currently it a dictionary and barely anything more.
2door Een*******08/11/2019Great app, but one wish: iCloud.
MeerThis is a great app. But I lost everything I made because there isn't iCloud sync.
Please add this feature for sync across my devices and for back up.4door I A**14/10/2018Amazing
MeerIn the maze of Japanese dictionaries and learning apps, this app is a hidden treasure. The core dictionary functionality is excellent, but it also has very useful additions like clear kanji strokes animations and the ability to easily add words to a personal deck of review cards with spaced repetition system.

MeerThis app is great. It is not only a good quality dictionary but also a good tool for learning kanji's and word power.

5door Ora******01/03/2015Excellent application
MeerBeen studying Japanese for quite some time now. Currently living in Japan, so having access to a mobile Japanese dictionary on a daily basis is a must.
You want kanji, verbs, vocabulary? Or even more detailed information like adjectives and adverbs? This application covers it all! It's got a massive amount of data, and all of it is really easy to find and use.
The menus are very easy to navigate through. It even gives you the option to make your own lists of words you want to pay extra attention to. The flash cards are also very convenient when commuting to work or school. This app will help me a lot.
Why pay ¥30.000 for an electronic dictionary when you can buy this for ¥500?5door L1 *******27/10/2014Excellent
MeerI only wish there was an iPad native version, as the blown up low definition looks quite horrible on the iPad screen.
5door Jam*******03/04/2012Perfect dictionary
MeerWell worth the price. My favorite part is searching for conjugated forms. All dictionaries should have that.
5door Kin*******21/08/2011Edict in a nice jacket
MeerThe app Japanese works very nice.
Looking up words is very easy and works too with romaji input. An other nice feature is that most kanji display the stroke order in an animation. However the dictionary it uses is free (freedict). Other programs offer the same dictionary for free with similar features. Such as Kotoba or simply do a Japanese dictionary search in the I store. 12euro or what ever the price is very overpriced for something that cab be found else where for free.2door Miy*******22/11/2010Awesome
MeerVery effficient interaction, and good support for beginners, including the ability to switch off romaji. Version 2 is very convenient for learning (word lists have improved).
5door Rap***10/11/2009Great and very comprehensive dictionary app
MeerTerrific dictionary app with a great number of features. I especially like the built-in flashcard application and the many word lists (amongst which lists by lexical category) but there is more. Worth every cent and a must-have for every serious student of Japanese.
My only wish is that the developers will now also make a similar Chinese dictionary.5door Kaj**18/10/2009Well worth it
MeerExcellent dictionary, very complete. Has found everything I threw at it so far. The single combined search bar works great, finds entries whether I type in Japanese or English. It's a little bit slow with its live searching, but still perfectly usable. The Traditional Chinese input trick works well enough and really boosts the usefulness of this app to the point where it's better than most traditional electronic dictionaries.
An app well worth the slightly steep price tag.
Update: The recent 2.0 upgrade has pushed this to be the Über-Dictionary. Absolutely fantastic!5door Kun*******26/09/2009Great stuff - funny pricing
MeerWell programmed and great content. I got it for free after it was 10 dollars and now it is 20 dollar (16 euro). Great for students of Japanese and travellers to Japan and businessmen.
