The apple home app doesn’t offer the Logitech doorbell press to run an automation. This app allowed it so I can play my own chime from Apple Music at my own set volume.

App crashes when trying to save an automation. Also I’d like support for apples HomePod mini internal temp and humidity sensors.

Strange things happen. If I set the detection value of a device (e.g. Lightsensor) to a value, the result is an empty/blank value.
Also, if the value is set to a specific value (e.g. 100 lux) in Apple’s Home-app, Home+ shows a different value.
Home+ has changed automation also. I set automation ‘between time-A end time-B’. Home+ removed these time-points without any notification.
I’m back at Eve’s. Not as userfriendly, but no strange things happen.

For an app this expensive you would think it could atleast do what Apple Home could right? Well, no it doesn’t.
- Missing Phillips hue functions (like auto white/warm white based on time)
- A lot of homebridge devices (TV etc)
- IKEA bridge works but isn’t seen as a bridge. (Might limit device support as well)
For the features it does add on top of Apple Home it’s not worth the money.

A nice App that does quite a bit more than the default Home App from Apple. Some unclearities in the App though. It is not as simple as it is said to be. Device names are often not copied, the hardware name is, and it is a lot of hassle when names like ‘Switch EAB0’ is shown, instead of ‘Livingroom 3’. Would like to have some sorting options in the menu’s. Buttons like Eve’s, are not in any logic order in the list. A simple alphabetical sort would be nice.

What I’m missing in Home+ are my HomePods Mini. Can’t see them or maybe I have misconfigured something…
I’m also unable to move an automation into a folder. When I try that Home+ just quits without any error message whatsoever.
I also can’t see any TV’s or set top boxes… I assume they are filtered out, but that limits the use of automations in my case.
I hope these shortcomings will be fixed or added in a future release. For now I have to use the standard Home app for the missing features.

I wanted to create some advanced automations including my homepod mini’s. And therefore I bought this app. Unfortunately none of my homepods are available in the app. I really want/need that…..

Expensive app and it does not full deliver if you ask me. There could be a lot more.There are still no (new) widgets for iOS 14/15.

Or arranging stuff more the way I want instead of how this app wants it.

Please fix the background of the icon on the Apple Watch in dark mode. The white around the blue is just the ugliest.

Bin auch sehr froh über das Update 5. Bin froh das du dich mal um Ordnung gekümmert hast, mit Automation und Scenen ist das so ein Durcheinander in der Homkit app das man fast durch den Wald die Baüme nicht mehr sieht!
Leider gibt es aber auch ein paar Problemen die ich dir gerne miteilen möchte. Jedenfalls hier auf iPhone Xr (iOS 14.4) sind es bei mir folgende:

Die Scenes, sowie auch in Favoriten kan man pro Knopfdruck anmachen/ einschalten aber nicht mit dem selben Button wieder ausschalten, geht das nicht? Apropos, hier wäre es aber auch super wenn man Ortner anlegen könnte genau so wie in Automationen!
Ich kann nirgendwo sowohl In Summary/ Accessoires oder sonst wo mein HomeKit Hub (Apple TV 4k) sehen?
Programmierte Text Felder Überschriften im UI (Fenster "Automation") werden nur um zwei Drittel angezeigt also irgendwie abgeschnitten?
Anweisung "Learn more" ergibt einen Error 404

Bugs a lot when editing automations. Undo’s get magically multiplied (40x undo after 1 minute). Some automations just don’t work, don’t know if HomeKit or this app is to blame. A simple motion detection works, but when you add a day as a condition the automation just stops working. No errors or warnings, it just doesn’t work anymore.
The app offers a lot more automation options than the Apple Home app. 5 stars for better debugging and less bugs while editing.

It also displays a very annoying stupid “no API rights” message on a Groups tile.
Weird and stupid because there’s no problem whatsoever.
There have been several updates now but it sill has the VERY ANNOYING “No API Rights” messages on the widgets.
When the F are you going to fix this nonsense?

I bought Home+4 yesterday to be able to create more complicated automations. First I used the free Eve app, but I must say that Home+4 is easier to make complex automations.
For example, I use a number of motion sensors to determine whether I walk up or down the stairs and based on that turn on or off lights, TV, etc. Its easy to create als with and/or. So I’m very satisfied until now.

I wanted to automatically enable/disable my fan, using a IKEA Trådfri Smart Outlet and a Philips Hue Motion Sensor (temperature). Since the default Home app doesn’t allow you to create such automations using a temperature sensor, I got stuck. When I finally found this app, and configured the automation I wanted, I was relieved because it worked perfectly! It was easy to setup, easy to understand and very quick. The app looks amazing so it’s worth every penny in my eyes. I’d recommend this app to everyone who wants to automate on a next level!
