Hero Wars: Alliance RPG Arena

I really don’t like that you can play the games the add shows but you have to complete so many levels for it and the puzzels are so not worth it to unlock but the gameplay is fun however later on its really brutal but I love the hero’s, I’m obsessed with them!

After the newest update the game sends me straight to the research center, but because i have upgraded it without finishing the upgrade i can’t open it or press anything else so my game is stuck.

Like so many mobile RPGs, Hero Wars Alliance looks genuinely fun in its ads — and then delivers something completely different once installed. What you actually get is a dopamine-engineered loop of red notification dots, obscure resource hunts, and an interface so cluttered with campaigns, arenas, outlands, quests, events, and alliances that you’ll lose track of why you’re even playing.
Every mechanic exists for one purpose: extract money in amounts small enough to bypass your judgment. The shop runs at least six price tiers simultaneously — from €2,99 to €114,99 — each with countdown timers, “X2 bonus” windows, and artificial purchase limits. To obscure value further, the game runs four parallel currencies: emeralds, gold, energy, and VIP points. You can’t easily compare what anything actually costs, which is entirely by design. A €4,99 bundle “with 80% off” feels like a bargain. Ten of those purchases later, you’ve spent €50 on a game that wouldn’t survive honest upfront pricing.
For adults this is annoying. For kids, who lack the mental framework to track cumulative spending across currencies and timers, it’s a different problem entirely.
If you enjoy genuinely complex strategy, go elsewhere. If you enjoy being monetized, this is very well made.

Het begint aardig. Wat later blijft weinig meer over dan herhaling van hetzelfde. Irritant is dat je een bak vol reclamevideo’s moet uitzitten, het ene filmpje nog dommer dan het andere. Het zal heel misschien leuker kunnen worden als je de berg aankopen (belachelijke prijzen bovendien) doet die je opgedrongen wordt maar daar is geen enkele garantie op.
Jammer maar helaas: dit is niks, ik gooi het er weer af. En ik heb het echt geprobeerd tot level 87.

Since the last new game mode Realms, the stability has been worse than worse. Now with the new update I can’t even play the game, getting an error message having to reload the game and now I get one about an authorization error of some sort. It looks like the devs only care about rushing new updates and cashing as quick as possible. Be warned.

Really enjoyed this game and also didn’t mind spending money on it. As of a month the game experience became worse with each update. Game modes like Guild Versus and Realm are being rushed into production without proper testing. Switching talisman on a Hero allowed players to gain a lot of points and this exploit has been misused a lot. Customer support has been closed and a generic message has been put in place to calm the crowd regarding an unrelated difference between personal points and guild total points. On Discord a short message about the incident, but even after 4 days no recount or form of compensation for guilds which have been negatively impacted in the rankings. New game mode Realm is being rolled out as we speak while Guild Versus is still buggy. Dungeon mode unplayable for some players. Rapid succession of items being launched behind a paywall… draw your own conclusions but to me this game feels like a downward spiral in overall quality/stability and grind.

There is al lot to do, all created within the theme, although sometimes a bit overlapping. Still challenging! The game is also massively infested with payment pages. It is therefore also a challenge to advance through levels without blowing up your creditcard. I now made it to level 50 heroes. Not sure yet if I can get to 51 within a week or so. But you can try to earn your progress instead of buying it. Yours to decide. Give it a go.

As always with these games, there’s a lot to do in the beginning but at some point in the upgrade momentum you get stuck. Of course, putting in money helps, but it looks like a bottomless well. Without cash, it becomes very boring. Companies should be punished really hard for sending out ads that don’t match the game.
The people who manages the ads are just terrible. Why do you shove us 30 second or more wonky ads through our throats? Why? Do you like that yourselves? I don’t think so. Ads are okay, but not this many and not this long.
Playrix is the worst.

This game is full of commercials, even iff you donate your money. The devs are more and more money wolfes, with every upgrade you get less gems witch you need to buy in-game things, so you have to spend more money.
I played for over a year, have a great set of hero’s, but every 2 months there is comming a new hero to dominion that’s better, so AGAIN you have to spend money to get yourself on top again.. I’m fed up with this game and the greed of the Devs

Niet het spel wat je ziet in de advertentie. Ik snap helemaal niet dat je met een spel adverteert wat ik wil maar het niet kan krijgen.

Do NOT start playing this game. Absolute worst of the worst type of games.
Gameplay does not match the misleading ads. Half the game consists of ‘tasks’ where you need to watch ads (I thought this was a game?). Said ads are even inconsistent. Some can be skipped fast, some cannot. Some need multiple clicks on the back button to close because every time it will open ANOTHER screen which you need to wait for before it shows the (sometimes minuscule or hidden) back button.
Want to actually play the game and/or get good? Expect to spend a load of money because you will get nowhere without spending at least a bit. Most gameplay is designed to be TEDIOUS if you do not spend money on the ‘time savers’ through the VIP system.

Wasted time and money on this game, was fun for awhile. But when you unlock the city area, something appeared saying ‘I fixed the portal gate’. Then you can only click the campaign gate. When you do, you are done, you can’t click anything else. Stupid developer. Played on iPhone 16pro max and my iPad Pro 4gen 12,9 (all the same, stuck)

Such a cool game, the art and graphics are really cool and the story line is also very fun and interesting!

Leuk spel, ziet er grafisch heel goed uit. In het begin vooral onduidelijk, zijn veel dingen die meteen moeten gebeuren, meteen vechten enz.
