Flipboard: The Social Magazine

Would it be possible to open the reader view by default? Would improve my experience a lot!

The app is pretty good but I cant stand the amount of ads I constantly have to scroll past. Actively looking for an alternative for this reason.

I like the app, but don't know why it drains the battery so much. I switched off all notifications etc. People have been complaining about it, but no updates to resolve this.

Sinds enige tijd laadt de app geen content meer. Alles gedaan om opnieuw in te stellen, maar helaas. Zeer teleurstellend!

My go to app before sleep. You know, these places where you could buy any magazine you wanted but couldn’t afford more than one title? This is like the free magazine candy store on steroids. You can literally find any topic and let Flipboard curate the rest. Perfect rabbit hole to tumble into before sleep. Start using it ya’ll.

Love the app and use it very often on daily basis. However lately buggy, crashes after few seconds when scrolling through reactions on a topic I commented on.
Otherwise great concept and informative.

Love Flipboard and use it continuously. However with the last update the app crashes 9 out of 10 times when opening the For Me board. Hope it will get fixed ASAP.

It’s strange that Apple admitted the last couple of versions of this app: it brings my (admittedly old) iPhone 8 to it’s knees: after scrolling through a dozen articles, and opening a few, not only the app becomes non-responsive, but the whole phone. I can click, double-click, triple-click the home button as often as I like, hoping to force-quit this app, but nothing happens. At least not for a minute or so.
Shame, because I like many of its functions, the esthetics and the editorial policy.
Get yourself some better developers!

Can you please stop prompting me for the new widget every time I open the app? I got the message by now.

Just as I had made an account, I was asked if I wanted notifications. In very, very poor automatically translated Dutch full of grammatical errors and direct translations that lost all their meaning. I had to translate things back to English (in my mind) so sentences made sense again and I understood what was asked. That's not a great start...

Already a number of days I don’t get any update anymore… 22 january - Just checked, I have the last version but stil no updates
25 January - everything works again!

It’s UK focused. Only articles in English language. Not very useful for actual Europeans.

Idiotic ui where almost any movement causes a flip instead of opening something. Ad blocking does not work in whatever is opened - making the articles unreadable. Reader mode is useless as most pictures disappear.

Widens your view on the world, by offering interesting news from other continents.
