Fing - Netwerk Scanner

Elke keer kan ik mijn netwerken opnieuw in kaart brengen bij een update. De bestaande is ie weer kwijt!

Als beveiliging expert vind ik Fing een geweldige netwerk app. Het is overzichtelijk en gaat diep binnen het netwerk. Perfect voor volledige controle en fine tuning.

there are benefits to paying through Apple, they’d immediately reverse the transaction. CC company requires a form to fill in.

This app is highly misleading. Immediately after installation, a paid subscription was activated without my permission or any confirmation, and €3.99 was charged instantly. I never agreed to this subscription. This feels like a scam and should not be allowed in the App Store. I cancelled the subscription right away and requested a refund from Apple. Avoid this app!

very good network scanner. allows to change icons. not clear why the MAC address is not available

Used to be a great app but now the free version is completely useless. Removed the app.

Je moet eerst een abonnement afsluiten voordat je Fing mag proberen, of je kunt wachten…

I have used the app for a while now. It worked great and it did everything I want but suddenly the app required a subscription for simply renewing the device list in your network more then 1 time per day! That just makes the app kind of useless without the subscription…

After update today all data is gone and functionality is blocked. But after some time it’s working again!

Jarenlang plezier van gehad. Nu nog maar 1 scan toegestaan, abonnement van €7,99 per maand betalen voor een tweede scan. App verwijderd.

It is getting very expensive. For free it has almost no functionality anymore …

It is a bit of a one-trick pony and perhaps more suited to people who have lots and lots of connected devices. But then, the apps’s clumsiness is not suited to managing more than two-score devices. And to unlock features at the whopping subscriptions prices… no - too much, bro…

App talks with Facebook, Google, Doubleclick (and many other) servers all day (about 60x). Check it yourself in the privacy report in iOS settings. This can not be disabled. Wonder which of my data is shared without me knowing it. This is a serious privacy issue. While assuming that the Fingbox and the Fing app will make your network safer, it will instead weaken it. Be warned !

Since the latest update the app crashes after showing the splash screen.

Leest je netwerk heel duidelijk uit en is erg overzichtelijk zonder lastig gevallen te worden met trail periodes en opdringerige reclames

Ik had in de app staan dat er 7 dagen proef waren op premium, en dat ze daarna pas zouden afschrijven. Nou het ging er meteen af en heb toen gelijk opgezegd, maar ja, dat hielp dus niet. En kan er nog steeds niks mee, detecteert niet meer dan eerst. Wij hebben bijvoorbeeld gewoon camera buiten het huis hangen, is verbonden met ons thuisnetwerk, maar wordt niet gedetecteerd.
