No support for files app (including iCloud files), screen scrolls around wildly when tapping anywhere, unusable.

Handy but... I use it mainly because it can “fold” longer text. That’s supposed to make navigating longer documents easier. The but: folded text gets unfolded spontaneously. Have an nicely folded document, touch the screen somewhere and somehow all folded items get unfolded. Which makes navigating long documents a drag. The app needs an update (last one: 2 years ago...).

I love this editor!
It would be nice though if the screen was updated to support the iPhone XS Max.

I would love to see a way for Editorial to provide all the bells and whistles to interact with the Files app for text documents.

Met name de integratie (tweerichting synchronisatie) met Dropbox én de nieuwe split screen mogelijkheid maken Editorial voor mij onmisbaar als tekstverwerker. De vele handige workflows zorgen voor een hoge productiviteit. Met name voor iedereen die in Markdown schrijft een must have app..

The Workflows allow really powerful automation, saving and re-using (regex) find-replace commands for instance

Just as Pythonista from the same company, Editorial is a great app: well designed, easy to use, good documentation and the workflows of course. At a first glance, the workflows look like macros but when you look deeper it's far more than just macros: you can nearly automate e.g. report production. To make it a real scientific report tool it would be nice if modules like scipy and matplotlib are added.

So far the most fully featured and versatile editor for the iPad and iPhone. Maybe not the best app for distraction free writing, but that could be considered a compliment.

Editorial enables you to work in completely new ways, and it is quite simply a pleasure to use and explore. Its 'workflow' functionality is limitless in potential.

The new UI is great and very configurable. The new TaskPaper support makes me want to use it. Colored tags is a brilliant idea.
