CoPilot GPS Navigation

Nice and good working app. Miss 2 things. 1. Normal seach for destination, as in, use the name of a restaurant instead of needing to use the place, postal code, street + number. 2. No carplay yet.
Understood it will be avaliable in the near future. What is the near future. Can you be more exact. Also not to lose more users.

Ik ben al jaren geabonneerd op CoPilot en was er altijd zeer tevreden mee. Maar CoPilot ondersteunt helaas geen Apple CarPlay. En er zijn geen plannen aangekondigd om CoPilot te integreren. Een erg gemis. En ik mis een stuk innovatie bij CoPilot, het is al jaren het zelfde. Dit maakt dat ik toch overstap op andere app’s.

I am rating this 2 stars because although it is a good offline satnav app after all the years it has been out there is still no CarPlay support so I find myself frequently using other satnav software like Waze that has full CarPlay support.

Ik kan geen account aanmaken. Ik heb al meerdere malen geprobeerd een account te registreren maar de app blijft maar de foutmelding geven dat er geen internetverbinding is, terwijl ik gewoon verbonden ben met het internet.

Een goede navigatie. Het grootste probleem voor mij is dat deze niet wil met CarPlay. Copilot kost geld. Maar dan wil ik ook CarPlay. Anders ga ik deze navigatie niet gebruiken.
Kom op. Het is 2024.

Great app and great Navigation. Definitely recommend for Camper and Caravan Trips.
BUT, please add Apple Car Play!
It’s 2024, it’s more user friendly, it’s safer while driving.

The app and routing is one of te best on the market for travelling with car and caravan. To make it the best please add CarPlay.
This addition to the app has been requested many times. I am wondering of there is a specific reason for not implementing it to your app?

This is a great app that nearly rates 5 stars.
I am only giving it 4 stars because in order to hear voice navigation through my Bluetooth hands free car stereo I have to put it in Bluetooth audio mode and then can only play music from my phone.
Using fm radio or dab or usb I don’t yet voice navigation.
This is because all audio from CoPilot is considered multimedia auto so does not override.
There are free navigation apps out there like NUNAV that output their audio as phone audio which will cause voice commands to mute and override no matter what mode your car stereo is in.
If copilot could implement this then it would a flawless 5 stars.

Worked fine until the latest update for the app today. Now my yearly subscription on the Active traffic functionality is gone… it says to buy it again but I already bought it and paid until april 2022 so how do you mean pay again!
Very sad to see my subsctiption lost after updating the CoPilot app. CoPilot; how do you solve this problem?!

Navigation is no problem, but only when you know or the app knows the adress. Sometimes I have to use Google Maps because he can’t find certain adresses and certainly not easily to search for public spots like Leisure zones or start of hiking tracks. Furthermore update frequencies are low so as said before speed limits have changed here in Holland but the latest updates doesn’t show them.

CoPilot lets hou drive 120 and 130 km
For highway i use an otter app with correct speeds
Had contact bij mail but after 2 months still the wrong speeds in the Netherlands.
They keep telling we informed the supplier of the maps.

Jammer dat het geluid niet via BT te koppelen is met bv carkit of radio.
Daardoor valt voor mij de app af.

Over het algemeen goede app, laat je soms een vreemde route volgen, dan moet je met een grote omweg een straat inrijden, waar je ook rechtstreeks in kan. Weet ook soms niet goed de hoogte van viaducten waardoor je of onnodig omrijdt, of er juist niet onderdoor kan. Dus ik zelf goed blijven nadenken

Copilot is an excellent App but lacks the Apple CarPlay option. 5 stars when this will be added.
