Citrix Workspace

Since the may ‘25 update with the new menu in session, pinch to zoom no longer works. Also display resolutions are way off. Either way to large or I need goggles.

I use Workspace as a backup for when my laptop isn’t available or when I want a lighter backpack. It works perfectly with one exception… once I work in Windows environment with Workspace, the mouse slows down drastically. That makes that the iPad Air 2024 won’t replace my laptop.

Sinds enkele maanden niet meer mee te werken op een Apple apparaat. Leestekens niet te gebruiken, waardeloos. Hopelijk wordt dit snel opgelost

Sinds de update is citrix niet meer bruikbaar.
Toetsenbord schiet de hele tijd omhoog.
Zeer frustrerend…
Graag iets aan doen! Duurt te lang.

A new update keeps a digital keypad in your screen which can’t be deleted. Very annoying. Sometimes it even pulls your screen upwards, making working near impossible.
Is this fixable?

Today a new version was rolled out on my iPad, resulting in a very bad working mouse function in the workspace. I do not understand why you rollout a version that is not testen thoruoghly. As I am woking from home I need this correct working function!
Also I tried to contact the technical support. I was redirected to an Indian person that litterally needed me to spell out every word I said because he did not understand a word I was saying! I understand you need the technical service to be cost affective but an Indian person? Really?
Please do your job in an professional manner Citrix!

Sinds de iPad de muis ondersteunt is deze app echt nuttig. In de Windows omgeving is het lekker muizen op de 9 inch scherm.

App works perfect on the bigger iPad Pro.
Using the keyboard and a Logitech Anywhere MX3 its just like working with a laptop.
App is fast and the screen settings are very nice.
With this I can work anywhere I want!

Inloggen gaat top me de iPad pro en iPhone.
Werkt nog niet zo makkelijk als een laptop maar komt heel dicht in de buurt.
Ik ben tevreden en heb niks beters kunnen vinden.

Well, despite that there’s finally native support for hardware pointing devices, this app cannot be used on iPad Pro as mainstream (multi-task) working solution.
Many times, when switching between Citrix Workspace and other apps on iPad (while having an active Citrix connection), the Workspace app decides to disconnect my current session after not being in the Workspace app for more than 2 minutes. The whole loggin back in process needs to be repeated, finally restoring my session.
But then after ±30 seconds the Workspace app crashes. The only way to get it back to a stable situation is to remove it from memory and restart it again. After that the app is somewhat stable again, but only after the whole process of logging back in has been done, causing many frustrations.
What I’m trying to say is: when you use an iPad Pro with this app, don’t expect to multitask between Citrix Workspace and other apps on the iPad.
The app works well with native trackpad/mouse support, but it only will when the Workspace app stays active all the time.

2 months after the release of iOS 13.4 and the Magic Keyboard, still no native mouse or trackpad support, something competitors (Jump, Screens) were able to do within days or weeks after release.

Sessies worden na korte tijd afgebroken of je komt er niet meer bij. Onbruikbaar op een iPad.

Altijd naar volle tevredenheid mee gewerkt, maar na de update naar iPadOS13.1.2 kan er geen verbinding meer worden gemaakt

While logged in it should stay active. It needs a switch so the iPad doesn’t go to sleep.

Works quite fine, but the app logs out when inactive a bit too fast in my opinion, would like to be able to select a couple different time-frames which I could set according to the location i’m working.

(Door)starten lukt helaas niet meer, heeft vorig jaar voor update wel altijd gewerkt, maar opstarten van toepassing resulteert in foutmelding, welke verwijst naar IT afdeling, maar ligt mi. vnl. aan app.

Geeft mij toegang tot windows desktop via deze app.
Verbinding van overal waar wifi is.
