BookBuddy: Book Tracker

Great app, simple and easy to use! Glad I’ve purchased this. Some apps are just awesome and at a very reasonable price ! Works flawless!

It is not possible to copy the information of a specific book from your BookBuddy booklist as a text file which is inconvenient when doing research.

I have been using BookBuddy for years and absolutely love the app. I love how it tracks how many books you’ve added and when you have finished reading them. Features like scanning barcodes, different lists, custom tags and custom covers are all amazing as well.
Recently there was a small bug I contacted support about. They responded immediately and fixed the bug with a new release literally the next day. Amazing, definitely an easy recommendation if you love books.

After a dead Book Crawler App I needed a new library for my 2000 (e-) books. A long search brought me to BookBuddy. I didn’t manage to import my book file from BC to BB, but Kimico Support was very quick and helpfull. Now I’m glad BC crashed: BookBuddy is so much better. It’s easy to use, you’ve got a good overview and there is a great support.
I only miss two things: to swipe between titles and to delete an complete author at once from the overview of authors. I wanted that because the translator is seen as co author and that’s too much honor in my opinion.

I have the paid version of this app on my iPhone 15 with iOS 18.1 and I have some problems with the app since today.
It doesn’t scan books anymore and when ‘searching online’, I can’t add them either. The app shows a loading icon. But that’s it.

BookBuddy op 12 juni 2024 betaald maar na 50 opgeslagen boeken vraagt BookBuddy weer om betaling. Betaling komt gewoon niet door.

I would love it even more when I can select “autor - “last name, first name”
Instead of just “first name, last name”

Love this app! All my books/ebooks recorded in 1 place so I never forget if I have read a book before and what I thought of it. Easy to score it and add notes, and filter through tags you can add. It has everything you would need of a book library app!

This app is very good. I have a digital library with all my books I have read or books I want to read or own. There is one thing I am missing though. It doesn’t have statistics. How many books you have read in a month or year and rating or how many pages you have read. I miss that in this app. I want to see my reading statistics in an overview. Hopefully it will be available in this app soon. That would be great!

Goede app voor het registreren van boeken. Zou leuk zijn als ook in deze app zowel boeken, CD’s, DVD’s en ook andere verzamelobjecten geregistreerd kunnen worden. Dat doe ik nu met aanpassingen.

I have just downloaded this app and am pretty happy with it - the barcode scanner function is wonderful (although it sometimes brings up the wrong details for books, this has happened for 2 out of 45 books so far). The paid version is necessary for more than 50 books, but I think the price is fair.

What a great app to manage your library! Easy and quick. I tried it yesterday evening and I already have more than a hundred books in the app.

I’ve been looking for an app like this for some time. Very happy I found this one. The only thing I’m missing is a way to more easily see which of my books I’ve loaned to someone (currently you only see if you loaned a book to someone if you view that book, I’d like an overview of all the books I’ve loaned to people).

Nooit meer in de boekwinkel staan en je afvragen of ik een boek al heb gelezen of niet. Prima app, doet wat het moet doen!

Nice program but in a time of increasing E-books it is missing functionality to import/scan e-books
