Ik was jarenlang een tervreden gebruiker. Sinds de upgrade naar iOS 26.4 gaat de batterij van mijn iPhone binnen een uur van 100% naar 0.

There has been a persistent bug in the Apple Podcasts app for months that makes the Downloads tab unreliable and cluttered.
When I download an episode, listen to it, and then delete the download, the show’s artwork often remains visible in the Downloads tab, with a label saying an episode is downloaded. But when I tap on it, there is nothing there. No episode, no file. Just a ghost entry that cannot be removed.
This happens with at least half of the shows I listen to. There is no way to get rid of these phantom entries. They just stay there, making the Downloads tab messy and misleading.
For users who actively manage their downloads and like to keep things tidy, this is genuinely frustrating. The Downloads tab should reflect reality: what is actually on my device, nothing more.
Please fix this. It has been broken for far too long.

Can you add a section for Dance musics DJ’s? Now I never get good suggestions regarding dance music

Ever since iOS 26 upgrades on my iPhone 14 the downloaded podcasts keep disappearing. I have set all settings to not delete any podcasts already listened (non listened podcasts disappear also) library syncing off and even tried the turning off background app refresh. Deep restarting my phone, removing the app and reinstalling… nothing helps.

I’ve used this podcast app for years, but I’ve just changed. The updates they keep making have made the experience worse and worse. I have had enough.

I am using the I-watch app whole running. When running, with every notification, the podcast stops.
After resume it goes back like 60 seconds. This is not happening with my iPhone app.

This app has good variety! Recently got kicked out of Spotify but this works just as well for podcasts

Veel voorkomend probleem is dat sommige podcasts niet altijd afspelen. Eerste 5 seconden lopen an dan stopt de podcast. Zeer irritant.

Persoon wordt gecatfisht. Journalist gaat op onderzoek uit, om vervolgens door de zelfde persoon ook gecatfisht te worden. Een journalist! In afl. 4 valt pas het kwartje bij de maker. Persvoorlichter v.h. Ziekenhuis is terecht verontwaardigd.

Jullie app gebruik ik al een aantal jaren naar volle tevredenheid. Nu heb ik echter een klacht.
Sinds iOS26 is het beluisteren van gesproken podcasts via Apple Carplay bijna niet te verstaan. Stemmen klinken erg krakend.
Voorheen werkte dit altijd perfect.
Als ik jullie app gebruik via mijn AirPods dan is het geluid perfect.

Ik gebruik Apple podcast en Apple Musoc sinds enige maanden. Ik snap niet dat beide in één app bestaan… hierdoor luister ik helaas steeds vaker podcasts via YouTube

Gebruik al jaren met plezier deze app. Helaas wist deze niet meer de afgespeelde afleveringen ondanks dat het wel aangevinkt staat. Hier zou eens naar gekeken moeten worden.

Even when you are going to not be doing much. This is a great way to keep your brain running and also works if you need something else to focus on then thinking you need to fall asleep now.

Dit is mijn favoriete podcast. Al sinds de tijd dat Chris met zijn bus door zijn buurt reed. Altijd vernieuwend, altijd onderhoudend , altijd super sympathiek. De afleveringen mogen van mij langer duren. Ik luister tijdens het koken en dat duurt altijd net wat langer dan de podcast. Chris voelt als een buurman/vriend die altijf iets leuks te vertellen heeft. Mijn favoriete ‘gast’.
