My Porsche

Ideale app om je Porsche en een laadapparatuur in te beheren. Af en toe is het als nieuwe gebruiker nog zoeken naar waar iets staat maar dat went wel snel gelukkig

First of all, the app is more than 500 MB, which is unreasonable.
Second, having bugs is not unreasonable (I work in software development), however not fixing bugs or not looking for bugs is bad. And that, in a nutshell, is what I think is happening with this app.
Examples: setting a charge timer for my Taycan, it sometimes jumps one hour (!) and sometimes jumps back to my actual input. This has resulted in unexpected low SoC when it is time to leave.
Confirming a message that pops up with "don't show this message again", actually the message always comes back.
Again, I appreciate it takes time and effort to iron out all bugs and improve software. I am in the business of doing exactly that. However it appears these developers either don't care, or are not allowed to care.
I suggest there should be more pride! (Porsche please enpower your devs!)

Auto is ontgrendeld volgens app. Niet het geval. Ook heel langzaam laden en updates

Een fantastische slechte app. Ik ben 3 jaar geleden verhuisd van Brasil naar Dubai en de app komt er niet uit. Helemaal de kluts kwijt. Dus in de bak ermee. Plus je kan zelf geen auto’s toevoegen dat kan alleen de Porsche dealer. Je denkt toch zeker niet dat daar voor in de rij ga staan? Wat een onzin is dat.

After selecting a charging profile, there is a confusing message (basically telling me "this may or may not work depending on other factors) and a checkbox to hide the message in the future.
The checkbox does not work. Do the message keeps popping up.
Also after setting a charge timer at 5:45 local time (which is UTC+1 in winter) the charge timer shows up as 4:45 local time once I have set this. A few moments later it updates to the correct time.
If you don't know this bug, you end up with setting your charge timer one hour too late -- and your car is not ready to drive next morning.
There are many stupid bugs like this, and Porsche does not show any eagerness to make things better. That's why I rate this app (and my Taycan) only two stars.

Slechte app vergeleken met de apps van oa Tesla, Landrover en Volvo: ingewikkeld, te weinig mogelijkheden en niet intuïtief.

In het bezit van een Panamera Sport Turismo 4S uit 2018.
Auto is top, maar de My Porsche app is om te huilen. De actuele gegevens zoals km stand, tankinhoud, status van geopende ramen en deuren enzovoorts worden niet op de achtergrond geactualiseerd, een navigatie bestemming invoeren op je telefoon en verzenden naar het voertuig is niet eens mogelijk. Genoeg geld betaald voor een app met enkele basisfuncties waar je nauwelijks iets aan hebt. Beste appmakers, kijk een naar bijvoorbeeld de bmw en audi apps, deze werken wél prima en hebben deze functies wél allemaal. En voor lang niet zoveel geld als deze waardeloze en omslachtige app.

Helaas werkt de app niet goed bij mijn Porsche Taycan. De auto rijdt super en de garage (Porsche Centrum Gelderland) is geweldig maar de navigatie functioneert niet…..probleem is al langer bekend bij Porsche maar is nog niet opgelost.

The Porsche app is very disappointing. It is never up to date and usually requires refreshing three or four times to show the correct status. The available functions are extremely limited. You cannot lock or unlock the car, and the only real feature is starting the heater, but even that only works with the last setting used.
The app often crashes and has already become unusable while I was writing this review. For a brand known for quality and experience, this feels rushed and poorly designed. It does not live up to the Porsche name and is no better than the Audi app I had before.

Version 16.0.0 contains some bugs like:
- no location permission; despite the required settings like “always” (location) activated and Background App Refresh activated (On);
- remote horn and indicator function not working

Having also had a few bmws and many teslas with a remote app I can say this app is good but ridiculously slow. Especially when trying to open or cool the car through the app. Waiting nearly a minute is not unheard of. All my other cars were nearly instant

Op iPhones (laatste iOS versie 18.4) werken, na de update van paar weken geleden, een heel aantal opties niet meer. Zoals laad profielen instellen, pcm diensten en alarm settings.

App doesn’t do anything for my 2021 Boxster. They let you pay for connect services, however, there are no connect services at all (PCM4). Bad move from Porsche.

Weird that some Taycans from 2020 miss the basic “digital” options like closing the car with a newer PCM software while with the older slower PCM from 2018 everything is possible (been to the dealership, not possible). Still missing the warranty feauture in the app, via web it was possible to see but you guys plugged the web version out. Maybe an idea to put everyting missing in the app then?

So where are the timer and profile tabs for charging? I see them in screenshots on the porsche website but I only have overview and departure. Is this because my car is a Macan 4?

Kap met updates als hij slechter wordt. Hij werkte voorheen prima en nu update hij met veel veel moeite

The ‘Good to Know’ app used to have the manual. Very useful and easy to access.
No more, the manual is gone and complex registration came in return. A real pity and worth only one star.

Sinds update blijft scherm blanco. Ik zie de auto en gegevens zijn bijgewerkt maar de onderste helft is blanco. Geen gegevens, niets. Ook geen groen vinkje bij bijgewerkt.
