Daily Mail: Breaking News

I was banned for ‘breaking community guidelines’ without telling me what it was! I commented nothing even close to the line, let alone OVER it. Hilarious, since their readers are very rightwing and make many bigoted comments! Trash rag makes for a trash app.

Totally useless as a free app- having you pick 20 articles a months and otherwise pay a ridiculously amount.
The free app used to crash quite regularly however i kept in mind it’s free and satisfies my needs for UK gossip hahaha. The quality of the app stays the same so if i payed id have a sh* app crashing. I’m ok with paying for apps but only if they work properly.
And now.. i just go to their website ;-))

I cancelled my subscription as I still was only allowed to 20 articles. I got the subscription has lapsed notice when I had an ongoing subscription. Wasted 6,99€.

Keeps asking for money have paid over £20 this month to restore my subscription, still nothing! Fed up with this!

I was a frequent participant on the comments page (1250 ish entries) until one day i received an email saying that i had been banned for life. There was no evidence of my crime presented and no chance for me to voice my side of the storey. A newspaper should stand up for freedom of speech not suppress it. If one of my entries crossed a line they should be man enough to tell me what i did that was so wrong.

I am using the app several times a dat but noticed that it is constantly freezing after a minute of use. It has been doing this since 1,5 months.

I use the app daily to have a look at UK news. The latest update seems to have a bug. After using the app for a few minutes it freezes completely.

Great app, however due to change in limited access in amount of articles per month will have to find a new one

I live abroad and like to keep up with UK news. Mail online was an ok app fo that purpose. Not worth the money they are now asking, besides the app doesn’t seem to work as it hasn't updated any new news in weeks and is stuck on week old news... I guess there is no point them updating anything on this app as 99% of its users probably ditched it when they started asking money on top of all the adds they show already

Like all other reviewers and feedback, Im not happy with the paid change nor limited free "op to" 20 articles per month. I still use the web browse version at times for its still free but skips back to article 1 each time you've read something. It's annoying.
You must have lots of viewers by now?!
So, please change back to free.
Or don't limit to 20 articles - make it 100 at least
Any update in firm of text explanation at least how the negative response is received at the office or what's the latest concerning development and evaluation?

In the app, there is this ‘pay-wall’ after 3 articles. When one opens The Daily Mail through a browser, there is no such limitation. Would you care to explain?

There is enough advertisement in the articles, why ask a monthly fee from readers? Will not pay and will not use the app again..

Bye bye daily mail! I didn’t find it a good app to begin with, poorly written articles but enjoyable enough to read when I was bored. Now paying for poorly written articles... are you kidding me!

This is/was my favorite go to showbizz news app. Now they limit the amount of articles...I keep using the web version though, not so glowy but it's unlimited.

So I decided to give it a try for 8,99 a month but then I discovered the ‘In App purchase’ is not available to my wife and son (family sharing is not supported). So when they too want to read more than ‘free’ I will have to pay 3x8,99 a month. That’s a lot of money.

Used to be so nice ...... but not SO nice that I would pay for it... take your app and shove it!

Loved the app until they tried to charge me after having read 20 free articles when I moved to the Netherlands... I’m out!

Used to really enjoy using the app. Since last week (literally overnight) and without any warning I suddenly have to pay nearly £9 per month!
