When you enter a BMW model in the APP and enter demo mode you are presented with many options and functions. However when you buy the APP, many of those functions for the same car magically disappear. I think it’s tricking you in buying the APP, showing all it can do, but in fact only a small fraction you get outside “the car’s “ demo mode. Very disappointing to see that happen, however it’s (only slightly) better then the, even worse, Bimmerlink APP. That’s why this gets 2 stars.. Also, for the battery replacement option you get the message in Bimmercode you also need Bimmerlink to make it effective ( which doesn’t work correct and is a kind of extortion to buy Bimmerlink) I think all functions can be put into one APP, however this is the way the developer can charge you twice for two mediocre functional APP’s. All functions can easily fit in one APP, so stop ripping off people… A lot of options are not available, even when i know they can be made available. Other programs do offer these options… So i think, Bimmercode is almost worth what you pay for it, Bimmerlink absolutely NOT worth…. Anything.. So, not a fan of both, like you might noticed.
